ok look this question caught me off guard and i spent like 4 minutes with my hand below my nose trying to figure out if i was only exhaling with one nostril at a time, and it kind of felt like i was??? so i did some googling to try to figure out if this is a Real Thing That People Experience but i couldn’t find any reliable scientific sources to confirm it so long story short, one of our science writers fell down a rabbit hole researching this and she just emailed a nose specialist to ask if this is real

i’ll report back when we have more info

hmm idk if these count as nice things about myself but they’re not bad and it’s about myself :)

  1. i’m super super superexcited to go to college next year!!! i just had my orientation earlier this week and graduation is next week (yes i had orientation before finishing high school lol) and i enrolled in classes and i made new friends and GAH i’m just so excited wah
  2. i’m really proud of what i have accomplished in high school. i underestimated what i had done my whole life, and only now does it sink in what i did and why it’s such a big deal to my family… :’)
  3. although i’m sad to leave all most of my friends (3 of my friends are going to the same college lol), i’m actually really pleased that over orientation i was able to make friends and hopefully we can stay in touch when fall comes around
  4. basically everything is bittersweet right now and i can’t think of anything else to talk about. hmm i like to think that i’m helpful in like mentoring my junior friends? i’ve befriended a fair few juniors and i like helping them figure out how junior and senior life goes down
  5. lastly… i have nice handwriting…? :D
