i was thinking... unfortunately... and i just know that if viktor hadn't been stuck in that gelatinous goo during his magical coma, jayce would have curled up against him day in day out just to hear and feel his heartbeat
the fact of the matter is that jayce would have happily died by viktor's side and since he didn't he had to bring viktor back from literal death. his brain cannot comprehend existing in a world without viktor in it. he was going to perform a miracle hexcore or not he would have orpheused that bitch
yeah also. platonic or romantic isn't really the point with jayvik. whatever they have goes beyond that, it goes beyond romance and it goes beyond friendship, they are just so deeply interconnected that they will never ever not mean something to each other. everything might change, viktor might even never fully be viktor again and still, still their love will remain. what it means (or meant) to them will remain. what it made of them will remain.
if viktor was a worm jayce would build the most beautiful enclosure for him and would spend all his free time staring at him and feeding him leaves and i think this is deeply devastating. he loves him in the purest of ways and the affection was NEVER one sided jayce and viktor always loved each other and they always will to some extent

ahh, some people have been pointing out how they opened up the season with a jayvik scene. but, can i also just say how jayce literally saw some people laying in the rubble, dead, before he saw viktor, but he rushed to try to save viktor and just disregarded the other folk despite viktor literally lying in the rubble and being dead as well.
