It seems like every year around this time, I get the urge to do a Harper’s Island rewatch.

Because I Finished My Harper’s Island Rewatch Tonight ...

... I’m posting an old story I wrote back in 2009 when Harper’s Island stories were still topical. ;) You guys have NO IDEA how much fun this story was to write. Like, it was frightening how much fun it was.

Title: Hide and Seek Summary: The memories of those summer days spent hiding in the woods, just the two of them, stayed with him long after the games stopped. Rating/Warning: T for some language and creepiness. Disclaimer: Harper's Island belongs to CBS. They left the toy box open, but I'll put the characters back when I'm finished! Dialogue and action in the last section are taken from episode 13, but the inner monologue is creative license on my part. Author's Note: This story spoils the entire series. If you haven’t seen the series in its entirety yet (and why the hell haven’t you?!), read at your own risk. I’m putting the whole thing under a cut for that very reason.

Abby and Jimmy - A Love Story

So, a few years ago, my sister made this Harper’s Island fanvid, which made me explode from the cute. And now every time I hear “Love Story,” all I can see is this video in my head. I heard “Love Story” in the car on the way to work this morning and now here we are. ;)

(But really, this vid will make you explode from cute, even if you haven’t seen Harper’s Island. The vidmaker did a wonderful job … not that I’m biased or anything. ;))
