thinking about the x files 20th anniversary Paley Center event which was 50% david and gillian saying ‘…..i honestly cannot remember’ in answer to every single question, 3% gillian cry-laughing like she dropped acid in the green room, 2% david touching gillian’s arm, 15% legitimate and thoughtful answers about writing and directing, 10% guardedly sarcastic answers, 10% the sweet fanboy moderator knowing every single detail of the show off by heart and getting absolutely nothing out of his insane interviewees, and 10% gillian being asked for memories of filming and answering by describing the episode literally moment by moment just to prove she actually remembers something and still getting half the details horribly wrong
