30 days of marvel: fave villian [13/30] ↳ obadiah stane "for thirty years, i’ve been holding you up! i built this company up from nothing! nothing’s gonna stand in my way, least of all, you!“
The villains of the marvel universe don't tell ghost stories, they tell Punisher stories.
Every action has the equal and opposite reaction.

anyways civil war still has the mcu villain problem and the problem of nearly everything resolving itself by the end of the movie
nearly all the villains that have appeared in the mcu are flat and under written. and it seems that this is in favor of developing the heroes further, which is fine to some degree since the movies we are watching is about the heroes but this in turn makes the villains boring, predictable and less compelling.
like i feel like i have seen the same villain 10 times with only a slight variation in MO

He was our first choice. When we started talking about Apocalypse, it was back when we were making Days of Future Past and we started talking about who could actually play the part from the standpoint of who could hold the screen and even dominate the screen with Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, all the actors we have. We had a sense that he and Magneto would have an intense relationship, so it really needed to be somebody specifically with Michael who you felt like could go head to head with. Oscar is just this incredible talent, this incredibly intense, brooding—so he’s more inwardly intense—actor that we just thought could be strong onscreen as a leading man. — Bryan Singer on Oscar Isaac in “X-Men: Apocalypse.”
Where in the Civil War trailer does it show only 74 died? With the number of invading Chitauri and the destruction it'd be downright impossible for only 74 to have died. I don't think Marvel would try to have people believe that, they can't possibly believe we'd be that stupid. You sure you weren't mistaken?
when they are watching the footage
Less than 300 deaths in total.
also
why did they list the cost of damage first?
They are obviously only counting civilians because Winter Soldier killed more than 23 people by himself.
Also.. 2.8billion in damages.. so a helicarrier costs less than a billion? Get the fuck out. A Boeing 747-8 plane Costs $357 Million. These things are like ten times the size of them… and all futuristic and shit.
Worst. Villians. Ever.
Zod and his merry gang actually felt like a threat to the world. The Kryptonians and their machines killed thousands in Man of Steel. Zack Snyder himself said it was probably around 5000 people. Although some experts reckon the figure would have been around 129,000. That’s what i want from a villain.
It’s like now i’m concerned for how they’ll treat Thanos. He’s probably gonna turn up and they’ll be all ‘omg he’s like super evil. He’s killed like.. 9 people and even gave someone a nasty nip on the fleshy part of their arm!11!!’
Thanos is supposed to kill millions and billions of sentient beings.
Fuck you, marvel.
gutless pricks
Yes. The Avengers were saving people in New York etc blah but it’s bullshit. And you know it.
