I think one of the biggest reasons why I hate DB Super is that it's just the Goku and Vegeta show. No one else is able to shine. Goten and Trunks are still kids. It should really be about the next generation. Goten, Trunks, Marron, Uub, Pan and Bra. Gohan and Piccolo are made really weak. Tien is the most fucked over man in this series. The villains are either recycled or bland. Hell, the one I actually wanted to see, was King Cold and they botched that possibility. Dragon Ball Super just exists to cater to the Goku and Vegeta fanboys and it could’ve been so much more.

Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection F Review

I finally got to watch Resurrection of F! I loved it! Frieza’s glorious return, Goku and Vegeta’s training with Whis, Whis and Beerus being Whis and Beerus, The Z-Fighters fighting the Frieza force, Goku’s fight with Frieza and Frieza’s end. 

Although I am disappointed in a few aspects. 

  1. Mostly that I feel it was a huge wasted opportunity to NOT bring back Frieza with Cooler AND King Cold and have it be The Wrath Of The Cold Family. Think about it we have SSJGSS Goku and Vegeta fighting Golden Frieza and Cooler, while at the very end we have King Cold in his final form that is surprisingly stronger than both of his children in their Golden forms, while Goku and Vegeta resorting to fuse and become SSJGSSJ Gogeta and we have this fucking awesome fight between Gogeta and King Cold and finally the reign of the Cold family is brought to an end. 
  2. Gohan has been reduced to the Yamcha of the movie. I understand that Gohan has put his family and education before training but god he should STILL be able to go to Mystic, he should STILL have the power he did when he fought Buu but instead he can’t even find his Gi and he gets taken out to the point of death with one punch. ONE PUNCH IN FRIEZA’S FIRST FORM! God why does this keep happening to Gohan? This is coming from someone who enjoyed Gohan in the Buu Saga. Sure I would have preferred Gohan in that time to train with Piccolo ever since Cell’s defeat after he studied but still Gohan kicked ass in the Buu Saga. But after going Mystic and fighting Buu? Nothing, it looks as if he lost his Mystic powers and even SSJ2. No Great Saiyaman and not training for 7 years is tolerable, THIS is inexcusable.
