i was talking to my brother about being aroace and his literal reaction was "you're immune to it all, it's like a super power!" Said with absolut wonder. So yeah, we have super powers
Being “accepting” of romantic asexuals but not sexual aromantics is just repackaged purity culture.
Just a reminder that being aroace spec doesn’t equal loneliness and whoever told you that is a fool.

It's so weird when I see some members of the LGBTQ+ community bash or invalidate aromantic, asexual, or aroace people... U are not superior when u do that. And I thought it was weird before I even knew I was aroace.
If you think being aromantic or asexual means there's something wrong with you kindly fuck off from this blog
To tell you the truth I feel much happier being honest with myself and knowing I'm aroace instead of telling myself I want to be in a romantic and sexual relationship and I'm just incapable of getting there. For the longest time I felt like I couldn't be aroace but because of that, I felt like I was single because I was unwanted when in reality I was the one who didn't want anybody. My self esteem has been better since I've been able to admit that I was just not interested in anyone and in all honesty I never felt like there was anything wrong with me until I got to an age where everything was passively telling me there was something wrong with me
i thought free trial agender was a pretty funny joke so i made these for the aroace community
note: these are joke terms but you can take them seriously, you do you
Free Trial Aromantic
For aromantic people who are aromantic because their free trial to romance has ended
Free Trial Asexual
For asexual people who are asexual because their free trial to sex has ended
Free Trial Aroace
For aroace people who are aroace because their free trial to romance and sex has ended

i could honestly cry and thank @chronicintrovert from the bottom of my heart for portraying and writing the struggles of the asexual spectrum and portraying it in a hard but also a positive light.
that it is a process and people will love you all the same.
Being aro is such a huge part of my identity, actually. I'm not just a lesbian who's aromantic or an aromantic who's lesbian, I'm both. Equally and at the same time.
I can't be one without simultaneously being the other; the two are fundamentally interwoven
Another one! I'm currently drawing pride flags as anthropomorphised medieval/high fantasy personas because...why wouldn't I?
Here's the aromantic pride flag! 💚
Use them if you want & send requests via Ask.
If you're asexual and not aromantic, cool. You're loved and valid.
If you're aromantic and not asexual, awesome. You're loved and valid.
If you're asexual and not sex repulsed, nice. You're loved and valid.
If you're aromantic and want to be in a romantic relationship, hell yeah. You're loved and valid.
Asexuality and Aromanticity are spectrums, with many terms in between that may fit, may not. But you're still loved and valid all the same.
Sometimes the Lgbtqia+ community doesn't accept us, sometimes our own community feels unsafe, but I promise you, you are loved and valid and accepted just as you are and however you feel comfortable identifying.
Aroaces who are fans of Chappell Roan 🤭🤭
worst things to hear as an aro/ace/aroace person:
"you'll get over it"
"true love will find you some day"
"but what if somebody asks you out and they're really cute?"
"you'll change your mind"
"love/sex is a part of life, you need it"
"I bet I can change that"
"but what if you want kids someday/decide you want to get married?"
"you're too attractive to be aro/ace/aroace"
"men need women around the house" or "women need men around the house"
"but you've had crushes/been in relationships before?"
