Fixing Insomniac's Venom

I loved Insomniac's Spider-Man 2 and if I'm being honest it was all great until Venom became a mustache twirling villain.

Venom has a great appearance, the fight was good, but his motivations was bad. Wanting world domination and pulling Web of Shadows and just the personality of a brick.

So here is how I would've changed Harry as Venom

TLDR;Dive into Harry wanting the power and feeling like Peter is stealing everything from him, the suit, his fathers love, any chance of survival. Have Harry's motivation then to take everything from him convinced that was what Peter wanted to do to him.

Insomniac's Eddie Brock concept

So I know Eddie Brock is not Venom, but what if he becomes Venom at the end of the game?

This is my pitch for how Brock could work in the games.

My idea is that Eddie is a smarmy Freddie Lounds type reporter. We could change the background and make Eddie one of Peter's bullies from high schooland became bitter and jealous that Peter's life turned out better than his. Eddie went to the Bugle and Peter's career turned out better. His love life is the shits where Peter and MJ are together. His family hates him while Peter had Aunt May. He fails to keep his mortgage and loses his home and Peter got him fired by revealing he faked some criminal shots of Spider-Man. And Eddie swore revenge on Peter and held a grudge for years. Basically the polar opposite of this universe of Peter. Whenever the suit is freed from whomever, the suit falls on Eddie and the true Venom is born and we get that via DLC
