Before you think you’ve really gotten someone good by asking why Rooney Mara shouldn’t play Tiger Lily if Michael B. Jordan can play Johnny Storm and Quvenzhane Wallis can play Annie, ask yourself:

"Am I really calling whiteness as fundamental to being a superhero or a heartwarming orphan as being Native is to being a Native princess?"

Like, really think long and hard about whether that’s a good idea.

* And yeah, everything about the depiction of Native people in Peter Pan is insanely racist no matter what, but that’s no reason to make it worse.
