But enough time has passed and I thought I would do what I did for those games for MK1. And boy do I have a lot to say.

Rain should've remained a Ninja and not a fucking water wizard.

Rain isn't just a water user Rain controls rain and clouds and has used lightning as his moveset. He isn't aquaman. That's Hydro.

There are confirmed to be 8 more characters coming to MK11 after Aftermath. Since Ash Williams is off limits due to rights issues, I think it should be Kombatants only. So here is who I think should appear in future Kombat packs

Rain is so criminally underrated and underutilized in Mortal Kombat. 

He was meant to be in MK3, but was held off for the Ultimate version by creator Ed Boon. He was however left in the video previews for the first game to tease and trick players at a character that technically did not exist yet. Most of us were introduced to Rain by Mortal Kombat:Armageddon. But ever since the new timeline he has been reduced to a DLC character and a campaign only appearance as a non-playable opponent.

Rain is a water based Ninja. A prince of Edenia and son of the Elder God Argus. Rain was smuggled away from the realm as a small child shortly after Shao Kahn's take over. Thousands of years later he resurfaced. Rain is a traitor to his realm. When faced with the prospect of death at the hands of Shao Kahn, he offered his allegiance to the emperor and betrayed his homeland.

In the new timeline. “A refugee orphaned by Shao Kahn's conquest, Rain grew up under the protection of the Edenian Resistance. An exceptional fighter, he soon rose through their ranks. As his reputation grew, so did his arrogance. When Rain demanded leadership of the Resistance forces, he was refused. Infuriated, he turned against his rebel comrades and betrayed them to their sworn enemy. In payment for this treason, Rain was promised his own army by the emperor Shao Kahn. Power would be his - no matter the cost..”

Rain is criminally underrated and deserves to be in MK11. After the disaster that was D’Vorah over Mileena, we certainly deserve to see Rain as a playable character and to be essential to the story. Rain and Tanya could be working with the Earthrealm forces to put an end to Raiden for their own survival. Literally anything as long as he appears in the story and he is playable.
