🎄Christmas Night at the Starks 🎄 [A continuation of Christmas Morning at the Starks] The Christmas party was a blast, Peter had one too many eggnogs, Happy was not amused by Tony’s indulging attitude. Rhodey had managed to convince Morgan that Prof Hulk knew Santa, she had since been asking to apply for the role as Santa’s Helper. Thor had to voice Santa in the end to answer her in order to send the overexcited 6-year-old to bed. Pepper and Tony are having a quiet moment after their friends and family all went home, Pepper is prepping some leftover meals ready for tomorrow and Tony has taken up knitting, they are both winding down from the long and joyful day. That is before their Santa’s little helper runs down the stairs and breaks the big exciting news to them.

Natasha Romanoff, who - after being objectified, pushed as a love interest, and ignored - single-handedly led the Avengers for five years, only to be unoriginally fridged to advance the plot of her male companions without a funeral or public acknowledgment, because the writers thought a character as traumatized as she never warranted a happy ending.
Carol Danvers, who was sent away for the majority of the film, because she is so powerful that the writers had no idea what to do with her.
Valkyrie, whose sexuality was erased and trauma was glossed over so that the male hero could leave and continue his story as one of the movie’s main protagonists.
Gamora, who died alone and expendable and returned with all of her development erased.
Wanda Maximoff, who could have easily destroyed the man who stole everything from her, but posed such a threat that he called an entire army so that the rest of the heroes could fight alongside her.
Shuri, whose off-screen erasure was so devastating that fans rallied to her cause.
Peggy Carter, who lived as the reason the Avengers exist and defeated Nazis in her own right, but whose happy ending garnered dislike due to the inconsistent desires written into her love interest.
Pepper Potts, who acted as an authority and a hero to the very end but had her happy ending torn away from her.
To the heroes young women look up to, whose penultimate sisterhood should have marked power and change, rather than exist without the original female Avenger and be tacked on in battle to “prove” that Marvel cares about female characters, despite that each of them has been shafted, degraded, and abused numerous times by the whims of male writers. To the characters whose journeys are decided by those without a clue as to what they deserve. To the women.
