Superman Fancast:Last Son Of Krypton
With the success of The Batman, I’d love a similar treatment for Superman
my other DC fancasts

“You can call me whatever you like. Take a bucket of piss and call it Granny’s Peach Tea; take a weapon of assassination and call it deterrence. You won’t fool a fly or me. I’m not gonna drink it.”

I cant wait till Queen Mera, The Amazons, Black Canary, Supergirl, Killer Frost, Poison Ivy, Catwoman and Barbara Gordon joins this list. (Among many others)
CW has 3 women fighting whereas BvS has 1 women fighting , 1 being love interest and a damsel in distress and 1 for being a plot device to end a fight against Batman and Superman. And 1 was killed off.
You’re still here? Do you really feel so insecure with your comic book movies that you’re still angry with me over my opinion?
I like how you use the term “fighting woman” as if female characters who don’t punch men in the face are weak. That’s very progressive of you. Nice.
Lois was the one who found out Lex was manipulating events to turn the world on Superman. She had the proof, and that’s her whole arc in the movie. She knew Lex was bad news before Clark or Bruce were even looking in his direction. But oh yeah, she’s just a weak damsel in distress totally. She doesn’t punch people in the face so she’s weak. Her storyline had nothing to do with being a love interest. Lois always looks for the truth.
Senator Finch was an excellent character, killed off too soon, I agree. But her arc with Lex was so well done. She knew he wasn’t trust worthy. The characters in this movie that were able to sniff out Lex’s lies were women.
Martha was the source of Clark’s hope. She grounded him and she talked to him as her son, a human, and not as a god. She’s a widow trying to help her superhuman son. Sorry she’s not punching enough people in the face to please you.
Diana was awesome, even you seem to see that.
Martha Wayne was actually put ahead of Thomas Wayne in terms of her importance to Bruce, which was excellent to see after the Nolanverse could only talk about Thomas as someone important to Bruce.
Clark and Bruce literally come together as a result of the women in their lives that they love.
If you want to reduce the amazing women in the movie to “damsels in distress” and “love interests” then clearly that’s your own problem in how you perceive women.
Where did Clark go?
omg precious
omg
Ma and Pa why so cute?!
OH MY GOD
The thing that gets me though is that tumblr is always like “mental illnesses are real don’t ignore them.” But yet they make fun of the “Martha” moment in BvS which is clearly attatched to Bruce’s PTSD. They don’t become less real because the character is fictional.
i’m biased towards bvs, true, but the ‘lmao your mom is also called martha!!!’ meme annoys the shit out of me. even more when reviewers use it as a basis to prop up marvel because ‘nobody named martha dies in this movie’ (an actual review i’ve seen smh). it wasn’t like bruce just decided to become his friend based on clark’s mother also being called martha. his ptsd kicked in and triggered him immensely and it was from this he was able to take a step back from his surviors guilt that’s been building and building since the metropolis disaster and look at clark as an actual human being with a family and not some all mighty god.
