Illyana Rasputin in New Mutants: War Children #1
I’m putting this in the queue, but I’m typing this on Monday morning, and I get it, Illyana. Sometimes you just feel rough and want to handle everything that comes up with a sword.

When Yana was just back from Limbo and didn’t know any better, Kitty was the only girl she knew whose fashion she could copy, so I bet Yana still has a lot of clothes-related revenge ready to execute.

She’s “not a hugger”, so being grabbed like that can come as a shock. Also the horns. They are gonna bump into you.

Let’s face it, we’ve all had days when we feel like that.

Illyana redocrated Limbo for a while after meeting Doctor Strange, like teenagers do to their rooms when discovering a new celebrity. See, very normal adolescence, nothing out of the ordinary.

Loved this scene--the duality of Illyana’s human and demon sides as something she constantly struggles with. And as a bonus, expressed through swordfighting. *cheff’s kiss*

Sweet dreams, Illyana. Or, perhaps more likely, a magical shield guarding you against the bad ones.

I don’t know about you, but I think this Sienkiewicz fellow may just have a big future in comics. This young unknown writer, Claremont? Ah, we’ll see.
This looks amazing and I cannot wait to read it. Poor Warlock. Protect him.
