It may not have entirely been Henry’s idea to find Emma; Neal just wants the love of his life and the mother of his son back together with him and Henry as a family.  Henry’s still a bit reluctant to get to know Emma because he’s still hurt that she would leave him and his dad but he wants to see his dad happy, and that means getting to know Emma and being a family again.

Emma agrees to meet Henry, but things don't go as planned and Henry doesn't seem as happy to finally meet his mother as everyone had hoped.

Henry's been raised by his father, Neal, and his mother, Emma, left when he was a baby. Finally Henry has convinced his grandfather to help him find his birth mother so Rumpel tracks Emma down to Manhattan and Neal sets out to find her, and when he does, it's not a happy re-union.
