They’re breaking up.

My first playthrough was a mage where they broke up, and he chose to be King. My mage chose against the ritual and had told Riordan they'd make the killing blow on the Archdemon... turns out doing that and having Alistair with you in the final fight causes him to stop you and tell how much he still loves you... with a kiss he'll charge off to kill the Archdemon himself... I don't know what's worse, the break up or that.

It's both.

And yet, for me, it's canon. I never said my character was okay after this, but her story does continue in Awakening.

How early do you think Anders sensed that Hawkes sibling had the blight? When it happened? Just after? Did Anders open his mouth to raise the alarm? Did Carver glare at him until he shut it again? Did Bethany shake her head: not yet, not now, it's too late to fix it anyway, let's pretend a while longer. Do you think Anders was desperately trying to plan while Hawkes sibling bantered back and forth with Hawke for possibly the last time? Do you think Anders did quiet soft healing spells when they made camp to ease the pain off for as long as possible? How long was it Anders and Carver keeping that secret, the two who had never gotten along but who were now bound in this? How long did Anders spend wondering if he could make Bethany "Sunshine" Hawke who was kind about Justice and understood his cause a Grey Warden? How long?

i just spent two hours running round the hissing wastes so i could trigger this war table mission bc honestly this note makes me ache deep in my chest

Took a stab at storyboarding for my advanced computer illustration final. Probably going to make some changes once I have time after graduation, but figured I’d share!

CONFESSION:

I am a music major/cellist currently in quarantine with my brother.  You know the beginning music in the game with the cello? We have a balcony where we can sit and I sometimes  play that piece on my cello. I always play at a decent hour and I have not received any complaints so far. The courtyard below us is mostly empty now and that haunting piece just seems fitting for the current state of things.
