I can’t believe I haven’t put these sketches up yet. These are actually quite old and me going through ideas for my Mahariel. The Photoshop version is a W.I.P. But this is a drawing of a cover idea when introducing Mahariel, which is plagued with the Blight from the mirror. Eventually that hair starts to fall out :( but I wanted a two-face example of his change as a teaser...

Because... I needed to show the others... these are my Dragon Age Origins character with their cards (meanings & reversals), symbols of affiliations, class and skills, and status after the Blight ended. (Cousland and Aeducan’s status is after Witch Hunt)

[Being my self coscious, I’ve been holding this one back after finishing most of it. Three of my characters in a stressful moment... *emotions* and so I’ve finally decided to say ‘f-it, i’m posting it.’]

My Mahariel_
He is usually called by a named based on his unique appeance than set him off from other elves. "One Ear" - His right ear had been cut off. He used to use his long hair to cover it but when he suffered from becoming a ghoul from the blighted mirrior he lost most of his hair. How he lost his ear though… was actually by his own volition. Long story short because it’s late for me: A friend in the clan was charged by a neighboring human village of killing woman. Which was untrue but that didn’t stop the anger aimed at them. Mahariel and his clanmate had a scuffel with the one of the men from the village - the man could not win the fight. But Mahariel wanted to end th bloodshed not increase it. He wanted to compromise. But the man knew the villagers wouldn’t just stop because this man claimed the elf responsable is dead without proof. The man shamefully mentioned the collecting of elf ears as trophies… It was hard to think of self mutulation, but if it prevented a war it was worth it. Mahariel cut off his right ear and his friend removed his own, the left.
Returning to the clan they were vague but clear that the is safe for now but they needed to leave as soon as possible. Some time after though Mahariel’s friend left the clan entirly. Which made him question wither his friend had been gulity of the crime he was charged with.
This is a base color image- so no shading for now.
