BUT. what SO many women don’t get is to REALLY pull mid-century elegance off, it’s not just the right dress/hair/shoes. MOST important is POISE. Carrying yourself tall and walking elegantly.

Stop posing for photos holding your skirt out with one hand like you’re on a Princess float. Nobody did that and it ruins the line of your dress. Even if you’re only wearing flats or sandals, walk like your life soundtrack is Mozart sonatas. True visual elegance/class is moving like you’re on the red carpet. Moving like you’re Audrey Hepburn, the most classy person who ever lived.

I am a shlub who lives in leggings, cartoon tees and hoodies. Soon as I put on my Bloch’s dress shoes and that tiered petticoat goes on, though, I’m Grace fricking Kelly.

EDIT: Just so you guys know, Good&Co is actually a really great app/company. They helped me figure out my interests and get placed with a job that I actually like.
