all emoji sets here fall under licenses that allow adaptation and remixing (editing) of the emojis provided. please read their individual terms, though - some licenses may require attribution!

for those that want to start editing emojis, the filetype that Inkscape and most emoji sets use is “.svg”, which is a lot more flexible than an image made of pixels (such as .pngs and .jpgs); svgs allow for better, smoother editing of shapes and can be exported into raster (.png) at essentially any size.

i can’t make any actual emoji tutorials, i highly recommend googling things for help! (please avoid sending me asks about it too, my askbox is REALLY cluttered.)

hey guys, i have downloaded an archive of this blog, turns out i have nearly 1300 emoji edits i've made over the years. good lord

i have them sorted into batches of 50 images (classic "breaking up tasks into smaller tasks") and i'm gonna go through and give every single emoji a friendly name, once im done renaming all the files i'll put them up as a ZIP download probably on filegarden. feeling a little motivated now that im on medication again

ive been living with that knowledge since 2019 your just gonna haveto deal with it. also how do we feel about me opening commissions. they're gonna use an original emoji style rather than the twemoji style, but ill let you commission characters, OCs, fandom shit etc.

finally getting around to the html guide but it is very much super basic and not "usable" info yet. might need a css guide and then a proper making a website file structure guide. but hopefully for some people you'll read this and look into more stuff on your own and get into web dev

i found a way to semi-automate edits
