Hey so I wrote a fic! It’s my first one so please be nice :) I’m gonna slap a load of warnings here before the readmore in the hopes that no one sees things they don’t like (and shout at me for it). Many thanks to the awesome @alackofghosts for the art and for inspiring this!!!
Characters: Fingon, Maedhros, a bit of Maglor.
Warnings: Darker Maedhros, darker Maglor, the Finweans behaving like a proper messy medieval royal family, political power plays, controversial character interpretations and major canonical character death
Disclaimer: I absolutely adore maedhros, this is not me bashing him, this is me writing the kind of maedhros i have always desperately wanted but never found. If you don’t like an unrepentant Maedhros who will grasp power with both hands this is not for you! Also this isn’t intended as fingon bashing either - this is me writing the sort of fingon i like :)
This is technically not canon compliant obviously but fits with my version of canon - it is not intended as Completely Researched and Accurate so please don’t take it as such!

An adorable tiny Sauron! He’s so very shiny - all the gold is stitched with kreinik, and i used blending filament in his hair. I also stitched him into opalescent fabric so that glitters too!
