While Peach swaps between blue and red earrings each costume did manage to find someplace to hide what in her usual outfit would be the "Chest Gem"(Indicated by the cheap pink arrows)
hey guys! last year my mom did a project with her class to discover how far a picture can travel through the internet, and i posted it on tumblr with great success. this year shes doing it again, with a new poster!
once again, I'd appreciate reblogs and maybe a note from where you're viewing the poster.
Doctor Who (1996)- BTS Part 2
dang, an actual useful and real "life hack" instead of those insane videos of people doing arts and crafts with a background of copyright free music
Wordgirl! But I changed her design to be a bit more magical girl-ish because why not hehe
Happy MAR10 Day!
I couldn't resist drawing Princess Peach (again) with all of her costumes from her upcoming game Princess Peach: Showtime!

Paper Mario Stop Motion
Hey all! I just discovered PaperMrio on Youtube, which is a channel that makes fun stop motion Paper Mario shorts. They do great at capturing the humor/unhinged lore of the series, haha!
Here's... three four of my favorites, but man there's so many good videos on this channel! You should really check 'em out
I think there might be a larger continuity connecting videos on this channel, but I've sort of been watching out of order, so I haven't parsed it yet. still, great fun!!!! Check 'em out
Actors Helene Stanley and Jeffrey Stone’s live-action reference footage for Cinderella (1950)
Friendly reminder for myself of this Mario animation that I made that I hope I won’t ditch! ^^’
This has been an interesting project for me - I’ll work on it two days straight and then leave it be for a couple of weeks or months because I get so busy with others things…. c:

This is the most punk rock thing I’ve ever seen
What gets me is that initial pause. The bird knows this song. He knows when the drum comes in. Being able to anticipate musical rhythm is a form of intelligence very few species have, and this is the most remarkable example of it I’ve ever seen in a bird. The cockatoo knew to wait for the drums.
Sketch.

Woot! Here’s the online zine I recently started working on. The newest issue just came out, and I wrote an article for it! Non-fiction is normally not my forte, but I wanted to give it a shot. I’m fairly pleased with the result. My article is called “Learning the Splits.” For context, this is a zine put out by an asexual forum (AVEN), and this issue’s topic was split orientations.
Okay, the first page for Word Up: Return to Fair City (okay really first two). I decided since I don’t know much about making comics I needed a practice page first. So let me know if you notice any problems so I can figure out how to fix them before I spend all my time on the other pages! I just don’t wanna hear about the cityscapes I know those suck but I spent like 60% of my time on them I’m not redoing them
Also, enjoy this little preview!
Edit: one thing really want advise/opinions on is why Becky looks more like an adult in the last panel, whereas the previous panel she almost looks like a teenager. I don’t know why, I tried to fix it, and this is better than it was but she still looks too young to me in the second to last panel
Omg this is so good!! Love the concept and the execution so far!
On the next to last panel, I'm wondering if perhaps it's a subtlety with the hair that's giving her a younger look. Maybe try giving the bangs little more length, and maybe give the hair more curled under ends like the last panel hints at? (Not sure if that would actually fix it but worth a try!)
Not to be an art hoe on main but I just had a guided tour about Hilma af Klint yesterday and I just can’t stop thinking about her and her paintings.
I have never been into abstract art but this… I’m ready.
There’s something so… alive with her work. Her paintings have a lot of presence. I feel a connection.
Hilma af Klint was one of the first abstract artists in Europe. But her huge body of work (over 1000 paintings and sketches) was hidden and forgotten about for a hundred years. Only recently has she been given the recognition she deserves - as an abstract pioneer that predates the European artists considered to be the fathers of abstractionism.
I heard about Mr. Ratburn’s gay nuptials and I just watched the episode. It was awesome, in spite of the new voice actors and computer animation 😑 Patrick is a sweetheart and I’m so happy for them. I already knew he was gay but I didn’t think it would ever become canon. Little did I know PBS stands for Pretty Ballsy Station. I thought it was funny that the kids wanted to set Mr. Ratburn up with Ms. Turner because I used to ship them as a kid. Also I was thinking throughout the whole thing that Patty was a lesbian and then at the end it said “special guest star Jane Lynch” so
