Some misc. Hunters for the soul

Ignore the one where he’s standing in the rain. I briefly forgot that rain in the demon realm boils. I just wanted to draw wet fabric lmao

Especially amusing considering I’m one of the people that does not agree with the widely accepted headcanon that Hunter is immune to the boiling rain.

I might be wrong but I'm pretty sure one time he leapt out of the boiling sea, so he's (maybe) (partially) canonically immune to the boiling/acidic water, at least for shorter periods of time :]

He did do that yes, which is a big reason for the theory

but honestly my explanation for it would just be:

He wanted to make a good entrance, he was just being dramatic lol

He’s got his artificial staff and as far as I’m aware we’ve never been given any limitations on the magic he can do with it. It doesn’t seem that far fetched to me that he could make a barrier to protect himself from the heat.

I guess I took it more as a “look how powerful and scary I am. I’m a skilled enough witch that I can do this. Fear me.”

Rather than a “this is something I should NOT be capable of doing, but I can and we’re never gonna question why or how I’m able to do this. I just can” lol
