i understand being upset at sram changing sana from muslim to romani, but is it that much different than druck changing even from bipolar to trans?
i (a trans man) would’ve really preferred if they kept david bipolar and had him also be trans
same here. islam is the second most popular religion amongst the romani people, and even if it wasn’t, why can’t she be both?? it is times like these when i realise how simplified skam can get, carried away on focusing too much on sana being muslim or noora being a feminist or isak being gay. especially france 2nd gen (which is one of my fav ogs!!!)
anyways i have so much faith in sram because so far they have been killing it with complex subtext and cinematography and im very excited to meet sana’s remake and im very very very hopeful that we’ll get at least 4 seasons!!! 🫶🫶🫶
edit: just to clarify i’m happy with the decision! this isn’t criticising sram, it’s criticising some very tiny tiny sections of the fan base :)

Lovro and Eva looking at each other wishing for what the other has…
Jakov and Eva always faced away. Their bodies melting into each other and the constant affection. The camera focused on them and Lovro being the afterthought, the outsider, the third wheel. But he has feelings for Jakov. That desire for romance that feels so close yet so far.
Jakov and Lovro are always off with each other. One person following the other. Lovro walks off the path and Jakov goes to follow. Lovro jumps into the waters; Jakov does the same. They play video games together and go to music events. The trailer showed us that Eva and Sara used to do that. They played music together; they swam. But now that’s gone. And Eva is just reminded of that emptiness every time she sees the boys.
