he never actually claimed the galaxy at all after all, just part of it (the Sith Empire) so he can’t really claim it once more

unless

he’s been around for a lot, lot longer than everyone (in game) assumes – the devs have already teased that his “true form” might not be a sith pureblood (aka tenebrae, the kid born on medriaas/nathema), he suggests that what scourge told us may not be his plan (any more) on ziost…..

if tenebrae was only unlucky enough to end up possessed by something else that would explain why the kid decided it’d be awesome to torture his own mum to death over the span of months – it’s not so much him being inexplicably horrible even as a tiny kid, but the thing possessing him being horrible (and possible trying out their force powers in a new body?)

though if this isn’t just vitiate employing hyperbole and pretending he totally claimed the galaxy before he got a ceiling dropped on him (or w/e the ls choice there is) then who *was* he before tenebrae?

first things that pops up in my head would be rakata because the infinite empire did pretty much control the galaxy before it collapsed iirc? but idk. i mean bastila says when you find the starmap that she doesn’t know of anything like the infinite empire that controlled so much of the galaxy so presumably if he *is* something older and not rakata he’d have to be from a people that controlled the galaxy even before them? (and i read some stuff about that some time ago but i will freely admit that i am no lore buff so i won’t speculate anything there lmao)

(and i might just read far too much into the wording of one line, but they did say we would identify hints of what’s up in KotFE when we replay SoR afterwards so [shrugs])

So, i just stumbled upon this post and thought about the one particular idea that came into my mind not long after I started playing SWTOR. Idea is pretty much the same - ol’ Vit is really OLD. Not like something about 1,4 thousands years old, but much older.

Though, that phrase about claiming galaxy can easily be a hyperbole… Dude is kinda loves DRAMA, just admit it. I can easy believe, that it is not. Or, at least, that he is much older…

Why do I think so? Well, to points from reblogged post I can add at least two. And I just love strange ideas.

First, from that Revan novel. If you read it, you can probably remember that coolstory about Vit’s childhood and rise to power, that old sith madam told Scourge.

There is one line (that probably sounded a bit more strangely sound in translation) but anyway: “his voice carried a weight and power that should not come from a child”. Well, maybe I am searching for a black cat in a dark room, and there is no that cat at all, but it looks for me far more… how to say? Having more sense if I am considering, that he can be not a child, but some entity inhabiting body of a child.

Also it giving a bit more sense to all that events. Though, he can be just that mad and angry sith larva.

(Note to self: do some silly pics about Marka, Vitiate, all that apprentice from the farm story and po-tay-toes)

But what is more interesting - Entity from Sith-Warrior storyline.

That one, who called ol’ Vit “my love” and by this action created one more lovestory, that still better than Twilight.

That one, who in codex entry called “centuries old”.

And that particular one, about who codex says “she nearly brought the galaxy to its knees and all but eradicated the Jedi Order”.

Goes really well with that line about claiming the galaxy.

Yes, I heard about the theory of Entity=Traya, but won’t comment it, because I don’t really know much about Traya.. Well, just that fact of her acting in second KOTOR, so she, I guess, can be called “centuries old”.

Well. I think it is the best I can do with my shitty English and equal level of skills in writing text with theories, arguments and stuff.

Just wanted to talk with myself about this idea. It fascinates me. Kinda like Darth Jar-Jar being shadowy puppeteer, but some dark entity capable of devouring entire planets, roaming in the darkness of far space. Because I can’t really believe, that sneaky-tricky son of a sith would really die in KOTET. Far too sneaky-tricky for that. And far too troll.

Nevermind anyway. Just my thoughts. Maybe will edit, delete or add something, that I don’t remember right now.

i fully stand by my “V(hatever) Is Abeloth” theory. to be honest, i don’t have any clues why exactly V(hatever) could be Abeloth, except for that body-swapping thing, the force-sucking/people-eating thing, the feeding on death thing and these small moments where he stops time to talk you into doing whatever he wants. also, i may remember it wrong, but her eyes were fully black, just like Vitiate’s? also can you imagine V with tentacles

“V with tentacles”? Sounds like a challenge! And legitimate excuse to draw him one more time. So I googled who Abeloth is (and in mentioned points they are really look alike each other, I must admit) and tried to draw Abeloth!Vit referenced with googled pics.

I wanted to read books, but I guess there is a whole series and it is far too more for meh. 

Hope I am not overstepping borders or smthng like this. It was just too good opportunity to miss. Anyway - interesting theory. I love theories.

Also wanted to add some my thoughts about the guy to the post. May contain spoilers for KOTFE and KOTET.

So, one of my beloved speculations is a linking royal dorks family, including Senya, with the Old Gods of Zakuul. Especially “Valk <-> Izax” part.

Because he is the “Ultimate Devourer ”, “bringer of death”, “his forms are endless” and all that stuff. And according to codex, in the pantheon of Old Gods Izax has one interesting aspect - Zildrog, demon-serpent, some kind of dragon entity and “flied on serpent wings”.

But also according to codex - Zildrog came from a more ancient time and his myths precede the Izax pantheon by going further into past. And in that myths Zildrog pictured as a some kind of a “guiding mentor who tested the strength of a warrior's spirit”. 

Guy were really strict teacher, though, and failed were consumed to fed dragons everlasting power. But lucky ones, who were noticed by senpai, were gifted “with the Breath of the Dragon. This boon imbued a soul with burning fire, lighting the way to a fortuitous future”.  

And considering the fact, that it all are old myths, I probably can see there some... connections. With Vit’s feeding on death and using host bodies. But it would be to conspirological even for meh if not one particular fact.

I seen some spoilers from KOTET and Vit seems to kinda name himself “the Dragon of Zakuul”. Kinda, but I am all for speculations now, so...  Adding to that fact this dragon thingy on his chest piece of that armor-mantle thing, dragon insignia on twins robes and all the stuff...

Okay, maybe he just likes DRAMA and pathos. Maybe he just fond of dragons. Maybe also a fan of this linking theories x) But I am here for conspirology that day.

So, combining this with general idea of Vit being much older that he if looking... He can be that thing (entity?) lurking on Zakuul or somewhere near it in space scales , that was later called Zildrog by zakuulans and considered as some kind of god. 

Maybe acting at the same time in known Galaxy. or maybe not if it was too long ago. Anyway, looking on all that situation with Voices of the Sith Emperor and Valkorion existing at the same time - dude seem to have little trouble with being in two places at one moment.

Or something like this. Or not. Just wanted to speculate a bit more. Hope I am not too noisy.
