Okay, so, speaking hypothetically. If t was up to you, would you prefer me drawing Marfa-comic with a) Marfa backstory aka Wikipedia: Early years OR b) Marfa messing up the whole plot of Van Helsing as a crappy self insert she is.

And I remember about ideas for drawing I got recently, chances are they will end in either or these variants, if I will decide to make them.

Thanks for more ideas! Now I have four votes for the second variant and two for the first, so for now it appears, that it will be party crushing Marfa. But I am always open to hear more.

For now also a sketch of Marfa’s parents together. Ludmila Petrovna and Vasiliy Nikolaevich.  And if you know me well, you probably guessed already, that they most likely will be almost complete opposites of each other both in means of they looks and in their personalities,  but somehow they get along really well.  Also a bit on their backgrounds: Ludmila Petrovna is from a family of merchants, traders, moneylenders, etc. Had (and still has) an older brother - Ivan Petrovich, but since he decided to become a monk, she was the one to continue the family business. And continue quite successfully. Doesn’t really likes her brother, but they are able to get along. A bit. Vasiliy Nikolaevich is from a family of quite usual townspeople, nothing really interesting about them, quite ordinary random jobs. He had two older brothers and a sister (still has oldest brother and sister, second oldest brother died from illness some years prior Marfa’s birth). Vasiliy Nikolaevich himself was a soldier earlier in his life and this is where he lost his leg and a bit of his hearing. Then returned home, worked on different jobs a bit and ended with Ludmila Pertovna eventually. Then Marfa happened. And shit got real.

So, a bit more about Marfa’s family? Now - Granny Asshole. Actually a sister of Marfa’s paternal grandmother and a local expert at ruining romantic moments. On a level close to not be able stopped by anything if her granny feelings tell her, that somebody is holding hands nearby. Or something worse.

I actually wanted to draw more of a random  romantic-moment-ruining Granny Asshole, but you can just imagine it yourself. She won’t be stopped by anything in her attempts to ensure that nothing disgraceful is not happening.
