1923: Posed as a Woman for Fourteen Years

“CHICAGO, Oct. 19.--Fred C. Thompson, whose trial and acquittal on charges of killing Richard C. Tesmer disclosed he had posed as a woman for fourteen years, has filed a petition in superior court to restrain the police from interfering with his appearance on the vaudeville stage.
