I am constantly torn...

… between this:

(Shiro just being Shiro in s3 and just having a new hair-style because the undercut was too cold sometimes)

and this:

(Shiro actually being Kuron, the clone, but not knowing that he’s a clone at all. And Keith finding out about it, because he offered to shave his head for him.)

Can’t decide whether season 3 provided me with a lot of fluffy… or with a lot of angsty feelings for sheith. This is so stressing.

… You know what else’s stressing? Drawing quick sketches in the basement, because my computer is still there. xD This shit is so creepy. I bet my basement is haunted as fuck.

they’ve been through a lot

Okay let’s say Shiro has siblings, like young 10 year-olds & he loves them to death. Like even though he’s a lot older than them he doesn’t get exasperated by them (too much lol). He lets them come into his room & play videogames with him and he even helps them do their homework from time to time.

Shiro was the perfect big brother, which is probably why he’s so patient & understanding!

Okay now imagine him at the garrison, best friends with Keith, this was before Kerebros. It’s Christmas vacation or something like that & Shiro invites Keith to hang with his family so he won’t be all alone.

Though hesitant at first (because he didn’t want to impose) Keith agrees & they end up spending the vacation together just chilling & relaxing.

They play video games in Shiro’s room while Shiro’s siblings cling to them like that one scene in Free! Where Haruka & Makoto are playing a video game & Makotos little bro & sis are hugging them ☺️☺️

So I saw a domestic fluff fanart piece of a boy with a little mullet and bangs and another taller boy with a white stripe in his dark hair and y’all I couldn’t tell for the life of me if it was Sheith or Jaydick, why do two of my Big OTPs have literally the same eccentric hair identifiers? Why is life so hard?

Lol, though, picture Keith and Shiro going back to Earth after everything is over and moving in together and getting a pet. To be more precise, picture them getting a cat. But Keith is Galra, and unbeknownst to them up to this point? Galra have domination issues when it comes to other feline-types in their territory. So Keith keeps getting into little territory disputes with the Cat.

If the Cat is cuddling against/on Shiro, Keith has to be cuddling against/on Shiro. If the Cat is flopped over something Shiro is working on? Keith is climbing into Shiro’s lap. Talking about the fights that go on at bedtime is strictly forbidden. (But hah! Keith usually wins those. …Usually.) Sometimes Shiro gets home and the two are having another territory dispute and is just like:

Shiro: A cat. Keith, you’re having a staring contest with a cat.

Keith: …Don’t distract me, Shiro.

But one day, Shiro gets home and the Cat and Keith are cuddled up against each other, and they are unable to pretend like they hate each other from that day on. Especially since the Cat starts following Keith everywhere around the house, and Keith encourages it.

I love how antis try to turn Sheith into this unhealthy, morally wrong thing and demonize Shiro to do so now that they don’t have the Keith’s underage argument.

When really if you pay attention to Shiro and Keith’s relationship they are one of the most supportive, loving relationships seen on screen- and that carries over to the fandom.

Antis arguments are only surface deep and can’t hold up under closer inspection, and I’m so happy to have such an amazing pair as Sheith as an OTP.

Keith is so determined to be Shiro’s shelter, to protect him against everything and anything no matter what, because Shiro has been his shelter so many times, in so many ways.

Keith could be super tense and be in the worst mood, but whenever he looks at Shiro he just gets the most soft look on his face.

Tender smooches

Probably one of my favourite things about sheith is that it’s something we’ve never seen before.

You have Shiro, a soldier and leader who’s been through so much and suffered. He worked so hard in his life, only to be captured and taken prisoner. And after all the trauma and changes he went through, he still knows that Keith’s got his back. Keith’s always there to save Shiro.

Then there’s Keith, an angry pilot who’s had a bad past (which we have yet to see) that Shiro helped him through. Keith’s life would have been a lot different without Shiro. Shiro is always there to help keep Keith grounded and give him advice when he needs it. Shiro’s always there to help Keith.

I have never seen a relationship so strong, deep, and unique in any media, let alone expect to find it in a cartoon. And it’s so well written, that all of what I wrote above is blatant in the dialogue and gestures. It’s not the main story in the show, but it’s such a powerful story.

My point is, these two men support and need each other to the fullest and whether it be platonic or romantic, I fully support their relationship.
