Lyre! 1. What clan is your OC? Lyre is a Salubri! A very fresh one in these modern nights! 41. Would your OC switch their clan if given the chance? Why or why not? Lyre would change clans like one might change underwear if she could. She doesn't really have a preference for anything other than having fun and enjoying things. She's ditzy and fun loving and doesn't really think too hard about the implications of such drastic changes. She does like being a Salubri though she does get a bit of a migraine thanks to how everything went down with her Embrace! 42. Suppose they weren’t embraced by their clan, which other clan would they thrive in? Lyre probably would be a fun Ravnos! She'd have a ton of fun being able to perform illusionary magics!

1. What clan is your OC? Xandi is Banu Haqim/Assamite, and has been since the late seventies! 41. Would your OC switch their clan if given the chance? Why or why not? Xandi was "raised" within the clan to think they're very necessary and above a lot of other clans due to their nobility. She probably wouldn't change her bloodline for the world. 42. Suppose they weren’t embraced by their clan, which other clan would they thrive in? She'd probably rock as a Brujah, which I even originally thought of her being. She's tempered out due to time as a Banu, but when she was first Embraced she had a fiery heart and a will to fight that would've knocked anyone against her to their knees.

Kolya! 1. What clan is your OC? Kolya is a Banu Haqim/Assamite, and has been since the mid-eighties! 41. Would your OC switch their clan if given the chance? Why or why not? Kolya is a certified hater and does not really enjoy his clan. He'd probably at this point switch to literally anything else - save for Tremere. He does carry that classic Assamite bitterness towards the clan of Warlocks, but his beef is more modern than the stealing of ancient blood sorcery. They're just consistent assholes. 42. Suppose they weren’t embraced by their clan, which other clan would they thrive in? Kolya would probably be a brilliant Nosferatu. He's very mechanically minded and enjoys his solitude, and the simple change in visage may be just what he needs to FINALLY be left alone!

6. What was their relationship to their sire? Were they close in any way or mere strangers? Xandi met her sire not too long after crossing the pond from America to Europe (forgive me for not being too specific!) about 1970. He was the foreign contact she needed to make when touching ground and basically would serve as a semi-handler of the operations she would be performing within the USSR. As far as she knew at the time, it was as above board as it could be when she worked for the CIA during the Cold War era. They became mentor and student, and it wasn't long until he revealed his nature to her and how he would be watching her during her time within communist Russia. At the time of her Embrace, they were close enough - Banu Haqim/Assamites have a relatively long ghouling process when things are done properly. 7. How did their sire treat them? Zubayr Agha treated her with dignity and respect, as a teacher would their student. He never gave her the impression he had ulterior motives aside from sharpening her to be the best tool in his arsenal. They still are in contact, though he does recognize that Xandi is faltering in her dedication to being only a weapon, but he cares a bit too much in that paternal way to really report it. 8. Was their sire with them after their embrace? Zubayr Agha has been with Xandi since day one. He helped set up the scene that would "kill" her and get her off record, and he has trained her and been her handler since the moment they shook hands. He's working far away from her now, but they're on normal speaking terms! Thank you so much for the ask! I never get to talk about him! <3

2 - What's something about your OC that people wouldn't expect just by looking at them? Aside from being a cool vampire assassin (clan Banu Haqim/Assamite babyyy!) the next surprising quality may be her grandma hobbies. She was born in the thirties and turned in the seventies so she has a lot of old school things that she enjoys doing - like crochet, being a star bowler, enjoying a good train. She's also big comic book snob, but it's pretty exclusive these days to reading graphic novels at a local library considering she has to pack light to travel around. She does regret not keeping a few originals she had as a kid but what can ya do! 20 - Does your OC have a tendency to get jealous? If so, how does this manifest? Xandi is one of my more detached characters but she does feel that longing pull to experience deep connections that others get to have. She has feelings and thoughts and wants, but she's chosen as a way to protect herself to try and lone wolf things and keep people at arm's distance.... but of course that doesn't work for anybody in the end! She does envy how easy people can connect and disconnect and be happy with that while she can barely stomach staying too long in one place. She feels the yearning and the longing... but is just too afraid to commit - even on a casual basis - and that's what she gets jealous of! She doesn't mistreat people in her jealousy but she does continue to remain aloof about it. 25 - What is your favorite thing about your OC? Xandi is my oldest OC and has morphed and changed so much and yet has at her core remained the same character since her conception and I just think that's neat!

PROS: - He's hairy - Charisma and rizz like you wouldn't believe, he could sell water to a drowning man. He sells artefacts to vampire lords to make his living in these modern nights. - Your classic good soul deep beneath it all Assamite/Banu Haqim - Insanely big on the individual making their own decisions, he wouldn't force most choices on anyone if he could help it. - An honest to God romantic, would absolutely go the nine yards of romance and setting things up if given enough time. He has the resources to make things very special. - Happy to spoil his lover.

CONS: - A little depressed, not gonna lie! Definitely unhappy being a vampire but also not going to boot-scootin' boogie off the mortal coil if he can help it either. At a loss of where to go and in his aimless depression he isn't as fun as he used to be. - Likes to use his rizz to deflect from talking about what's going on. His intentions and real self are definitely locked up tight. - A bit ruined for love thanks to what happened in his past so it'll take some work to get him going. - If he had a choice between saving a life by turning/ghouling someone vs letting them die, he'd absolutely let them die bar none. - He's a salesman.
