Spiderbones Wild West Au?
Listen, all I could think about since I saw this picture was the idea of the infamous outlaw ‘Crossbones’ Rumlow. He’s on the run for every crime under the sun at this point with a ransom that’s climbed sky high. But every so often he wanders in and out of a dusty little town in the middle of nowhere and only stays long enough for two things, a hot meal and a night with Peter Parker, the town whore.
I haven’t figured out yet what kind of relationship they have though. On the one hand, I fucking love the image of Rumlow striding into that town with his fingers twitching and eager . Because there’s a thick line that most whores draw in the sand of what they’ll allow to be done to them, no kissing, no pain, no spending the night ect… but Peter always let’s him blur that line more and more so every time Rumlow visits. Maybe that’s what keeps him coming back; The promise that this pretty little thing will let Rumlow wreck him, leave him bloody, bruised, tearstained, hell even piss stained sometimes, and still not break. Wrecked but never ruined. He’s the one thing Rumlow can’t seem to ruin but fuck, it’s too much fun to stop trying.
Then again, what if it’s the complete opposite. Rumlow’s been on the run for a long time, can never stay in one place long enough to build many meaningful connections, and his wife and son were executed years ago because of his crimes. The only constant in his life is the boy waiting for him in that town. Peter’s an outcast, not only is he a prostitute but one who fucks men, I’m almost certain the townsfolk shun him. They’re both tired and roughed up by the lives they lead, Peter by men who pay him for it, and Crossbones by men who hope to get paid for it. Who would they really have besides each other?
And there’s a whole other side to this coin I haven’t gotten to explore yet with how either of these things would effect Peter. What would his view of Rumlow be? Does he know how dangerous this man is? Idk man, as usual I’m just thinking out loud.
UM I GASPED OUT LOUD. May I offer a few forks for your roads:

- Rumlow telling peter that one day he’ll have enough that they can ride out of town, leave this rathole behind, Peter curling into his chest while they both fantasize, knowing it’ll never come to pass
- Peter wraps his red kerchief around Rumlow’s wrist, tells him “so you remember to come back for me,” it gets dusty, bloodstained and burnt in the rough desert, but Rumlow never loses it
- Rumlow fucking whores that look like Peter in other towns to no satisfaction, Peter sneering at men who don’t take him hard enough - they keep coming back together like magnets through sand

- Rumlow finds Peter mid-session with another john one night, he shoots the man right then and there and shoves his corpse off, pausing only long enough to take his cock out before he’s filling up Peter’s gaping hole, laughing when the boy spits and screams curses at him

Just a quick, shitty passing thought, but I’m interested in the idea of Peter joining the Avengers, and finding out that Tony, Tony Stark, his mentor, his idol, the Steve Rogers’ “second in command”, is actually nothing more than the team bitch.
Like sure, he fights with them but outside of what the media has fabricated, Tony is just this object the Avengers pass around for whatever they want. Anyone can drag him away from whatever he’s doing and have their way with him. God, I’m just real interested in how Peter would react to the knowledge that, he’s technically been granted free reign over the one person he’s been lusting after from the moment he knew what to do with his own dick.

Peter joins the Avengers ‘offically’, when everything is mostly back to normal. Half of the universe is back, but a lot of shit is still messed up, and they have got to fix it. So, of course, he helps out. He stays in New York for a while, with May, so she can get used to him being back. But it makes helping people harder, as New York is mostly okay, May understands. And so 6 months after the unsnapping he is moving into the Avengers compound.
Tony shows him around, point out everyone’s rooms, gives him full access to the workshop, and then they spend time working on making Peter’s web shooters a touch more accurate in the more extreme modes. Peter loves working with Mr Stark, especially now the man treats him more like an equal, even if he still teases him constantly. At night Peter shuts his eyes and imagines what it would be like to fuck Tony over the workshop bench as he touches himself. He rarely thinks of anyone else, has always been Tony Stark in his fantasies since he was first touching himself. It is several days before it happens, he is walking into the main kitchen to grab a snack when he sees it.

Peter still can’t really believe what happened the next day. Everyone is just the same at breakfast, Tony isn’t there, but he often isn’t. Peter goes down to the workshop, Tony is there, old rock music is playing and he is utterly absorbed on his work. So Peter doesn’t disturb him as he starts working on the spider drones. He keeps staring though, he can’t help it. Did he really fuck Tony, then watch most of the rest of the Avengers have their way with him? Did Sam really call him ‘the team bitch’.

Based on this moodboard right here. As well as an idea from @topwizzynun where Dr. Beck tries to convince Peter his powers aren't real as a means of making the boy dependent on him.

Ok so basically, what if it physically hurts Peter to hold back his powers. Nothing major, just a barely-there headache or something like that, that worsens the longer he has to control his strength or remind himself which way is right side up.
Anyway! Cut to Dr. Beck drilling it into Peter's head that he absolutely cannot 'use his powers' outside of his office, otherwise everyone around him will "be unnecessarily concerned for his wellbeing." But he tells Peter that his office is a safe space to "act out his fantasy" to get it out of his system.
What he's really doing though, is that good ol classical conditioning on Peter. 'Cause Pete's brain starts recognizing that the twinge in the back of his head he usually feels is gone only when he's at Beck's, and is back as soon as he leaves the room. But instead if associating the relief of pain with using his powers, he starts associating it with Dr. Beck himself.
For the first handful of months, the visits are strictly scheduled. Every week on the same day, same time. This is what sparks the conditioning first. But in the latter half of the year, the visits become less and less frequent, the dates seem more randomized, and slowly but surely Peter grows more uneasy as a result of having to hold his powers back for longer periods of time.
The straw that breaks the Camel's back is when he gets an email that says he's "making great progress," despite the fact that he feels the worst he ever has, and that his next visit wouldn't be for another year. He tries to cope, tries to push it out if his mind, and to his credit it takes 8 months before he breaks and Dr. Beck gets a call from him, sobbing and begging "don't make me wait a year. I just want to feel ok please. Dr. Beck please I can't take it."
Dr Beck assures aunt may that Peter would be going to a facility that he trusts most, but in reality he's really just keeping Peter in his basement. I mean after all, the boy needs him right? He only feels fine around Dr. Beck, in fact now it makes him physically sick to not be around him, it only makes sense that he be kept in a place where Dr. Beck can keep an eye on him.

Ok so basically when Steve joined shield he shadowed Brock Rumlow before becoming his Commanding Officer , just to get a feel for how shield works and functions. Anyway, he ends up picking up a lot of mannerisms and phrases that Brock used because the two of them actually got pretty close before the HYDRA infestation reveal.
Cut to like 3 years later when Bucky is steadily on his way to being cured and him and Steve are in a relationship. Sometimes bucky craves the loss of control so fucking bad that it physically hurts him, sometimes he feels so submissive and pliant that if you tell him to hold his breath, he’ll go blue in the face before defying an order. But he doesn’t tell Steve this because he’s supposed to be recovering and moving forward, and he doesn’t want to disappoint him.
Anyway one night they’re fucking, and bucky just keeps pushing Steve. “Harder, faster, rougher, more, please…” and Steve is feeding into it, hurting bucky in all the ways he’s asking him to. And bucky’s in bliss, he’s all overstimulated and tears slip down his face just from how good it feels.
In the heat of the moment Steve licks his tears off and says “that’s right, look so pretty when you cry. So good for me aren’t you?” And that sends bucky spiraling because for a second Steve sounded like… and suddenly visions of Brock are seared behind his eyelids, and the memory of every sick word of praise Brock gifted him seemed to echo in his ears.
His head feels dark and spacey, the kind of release and emptiness he’s been simultaneously craving and running away from. He’s blank in the face and he can’t feel his body. He doesn’t even register that Steve has stopped everything and is now trying to see what’s wrong, cause it all sounds muddy in his ears. Until he hears one word amongst the muffled noise. “Respond”. It’s instinct, to the point where it’s practically automatic, and to Bucky it just feels right, but it leaves Steve feeling sick to his stomach.
“Ready to comply.”
The last piece of the Asset, the one that Bucky can’t ever get rid of has almost nothing to do with HYDRA, and everything to do with the connection he feels to Brock.

No offense, but Tony Stark would adopt Prince Zuko on SIGHT if given the chance. Thinking about the two of them having a conversation- the amount of understanding and non-judgment that they would feel for one another is actually almost making me tear up. They've both been through so much; they were both raised to destroy (in one way or another), they've both made so many mistakes in their lives, hell they keep on making mistakes, but they refuse to stop learning and growing and trying to do what's right.
I think I'll talk more about this later, but just I can't believe how long it took me to realize that two of my favourite characters would work so well together.
