A lot of people have been interpreting what Stolas said about Blitz always thinking their relationship is about sex as him blaming Blitz, but I didn't see it that way? He was just stating a fact, and yeah it's his fault, but he never said it wasn't

I interpreted this as him realizing just how damaged this relationship really is. He clearly had hope that this could work out, but Blitz's reaction made him think it was a lost cause. Regardless of whether or not it's his fault, it's an observation he made and he's not wrong. How ARE you supposed to establish a relationship with someone who's convinced you only want sex?

if I may add, a lot of people are harping on Stolas because of him basically dismissing Blitz after he interprets Stolas’ confession as roleplay/sexual (which, fair) but I think a part of it is that not only did he get an answer to the question he posed to Blitz (will you stay? Do you want me the same way I want you?), he also got an answer to the question he’s been asking himself: “Could this be a relationship, or am I still naïve?”

I think you’ve got it absolutely right. I don’t think he’s expressing any fault of Blitzø’s, I think he’s just decided he’s gotten enough evidence to confirm his fears (which, as someone with anxiety and depression, his brain is likely ALWAYS trying to do), no matter how true that may be.

He’s not upset with Blitzø; he’s upset with himself for, in his own words, being naïve enough to believe that what they had wasn’t too broken to fix.

Stolas spent the whole day dreading this and THIS is how it turns out. It's weird to me how people act like he doesn't have a right to be upset
