The beauty of Tumblr is that you can share as much or as little of yourself as you want and/or are comfortable with. Good on you for staying true to yourself. I'd rather see that than people censoring themselves in order to gain/keep followers.
Thanks nonny! I think ultimately though I love TXF and this will stay and X-Files centric blog, my interests are many and sporadically passionate and I’d like my blog to reflect that. There are many purist X-File blogs with far better focus and finesse than mine, so I’ll leave that to them and just be me and people can stay or go as they wish. Most days it feels like the right choice, some days it’s hard.
But then I just stay offline!

Thanks nonny. I have been repeatedly unwell this year and it is not like me. I think maybe this is my body telling me what my mind has been refusing to acknowledge, that I’m stretched too thin, miserable and need to make a change. I just wish my body could have found a subtler way :’(

To your exam anon, my freshman year, I failed quite a few exams too. But just because you failed does not mean you are a failure. I ended up in the top twenty percent of my class. You can do this!!! You are trying. That is all that matters!

Secondly, there is something you can do and it’s the easiest thing in the world. Just blog like you normally would. Post cute gifsets and feminist coolness, and derpy Gillian faces and awesome fics. Fill this fandom with the positive, creative energy that we all fell in love with. We can’t stop people from feeling or spreading hate but we can drown it out with love.
I’m making a vat of lemsip to fight the cold and trying to finish Quantico and I would love nothing more than to check back in in an hour or so and find a flood of all your awesome content. We win by being unapologetically ourselves.
