Hi here’s baby Faelynn again :3 (aka my DnD character)

She recently got some rad scars from a manticore so I thought I’d draw her... She had two failed and two successful death saves, and then got advantage on her last roll which was an 11.

So that was a rollercoaster:)

This pose took fucking forever bcs it required knowledge of foreshortening and perspective which I didn’t have. Luckily, I had my art friends to thank for helping me with it...

So here’s some concept work too, since I was proud af of it:)

I played around with shading and smudge tools, tried to think more about saturation and contrast...

I practice a lot more nowadays and I picked up traditional painting again. Made me realise what my art is missing so I’ll try to improve on that.

I was trying to portray a very very specific feeling in a very very specific moment. So I put too much into this piece when there was probably no need and I just ruined it more...

But anyway, in order to not make this description too cheesy I won’t explain much. Just have it, just keep scrolling...
