hello! this is mod golden cheese (any/all) speaking. this is a blog that i made so that the cookie run fandom can talk about one common interest, cookies going through it. this blog, although cookie run kingdom centric, will also be allowing confessions of other cookie run related games (ex. ovenbreak, the witch's castle).

tagging system:

- all confession will be maintagged, only using "cookie run" and their respective game tag. example: a confession talks about gingerbrave from ovenbreak, so the tags would be #cookie run #cookie run ovenbreak

- confessions that talk about a ship will be tagged with the ship name.

- confessions that talk about a ship negatively will be tagged as "[shipname] neg."

- confessions that talk about a character negatively will be tagged as "[character] neg".

- confessions talking about problematic ships will be tagged as #cw proship, #tw proship, and others. confessions that outright condone these will be rejected, for my own sake and for the sake of others. you are more than allowed to complain about these, though. these likely won't get main-tagged.

- confessions talking about triggering topics will be tagged accordingly.

- confessions that are suggestive or nsfw-ish will be tagged as #suggestive.

- confessions that talk about ship discourse will be tagged as #ship discourse.

rules:

- the confessions posted on this blog do not reflect the opinion of the mod in any sort of way.

- try to be as civil as possible, please don't tell people to do harm to themselves and don't be overall an unpleasant person. you are more than allowed to disagree with people, but any indication of people trying to start drama just because will be eliminated.

- despite the fact that suggestive/nsfw-ish confessions are allowed, PLEASE keep in mind that this isn't an nsfw confessions blog. you are allowed to go on about how much you want a cookie or whatever, but don't be too descriptive about it! we're all queer about a character or are insane about a pairing, but we have to be decent.

Shipping heroes and villains is like a staple of any fandom that has heroes and villains. Like you can dislike it, i dislike some of em too but 1) don't tell people what to do 2) don't let people tell you what to do. Ship and let ship basically ✌️

One thing i massively despise is how people make cacao out to be the devil then act like Choco is a saint thats done no wrong yeah cacao fucked up but Choco murdered ao many even not under the swords influence yk

???? he literally did not???? dark choco has only caused damage under the control of the sword. it's like a big thing about him that he protects other cookies from threats and/or danger. to my knowledge, AT LEAST on kingdom, it's been stated that. unless you mean like when he was working with DE, but even then, he was still under the control of the sword because of the amount of guilt and grief he felt. him leaving the sword symbolized that he let go off his guilt and pain. none of them are saints but like trying to paint dark choco on a worse light than what actually happened feels. off - 🧀

I really don't understand the Beast x Ancient shippers.

Like. Genuinely.

Especially Golden Cheese Cookie and Burning Spice. People would specifically see Burning Spice tearing Golden Cheese Cookie's wings off in Episode 5, then in Episode 6 he nearly fights her to the death. How, in any way, is that romantic? "Little Bird"? That's just a nickname some villains use for their enemies.

Also Golden Cheese Cookie caught a glimpse of Burning Spice Cookie in the past. After finding this out, I'm 99.9% sure she was mad. Reasonably so. He destroyed civilizations just because for entertainment.

The Beasts HATE the Ancients, and vice versa. Even if they were to be redeemed, I'm pretty sure that the Ancients won't forgive the Beasts, for all that they've done to Cookiekind.

And since Shadow Milk Cookie is confirmed to be coming at Anniversary (https://www.youtube.com/live/qLLeswLw_ok?si=fzHMyuaMHUfE4YqN), I'm even more concerned that people will just see Shadow Milk and Pure Vanilla Cookie as romance potential instead of just... Enemies. Even if Shadow Milk Cookie's personality is jester-like.

I just see Golden Cheese Cookie, Mozzarella, Burnt Cheese, and Smoked Cheese Cookie as friends. Siblings can be an option too.

I can't see Golden Cheese Cookie as a mom. Sorry. I just don't think she's the type. I think she considers everyone in her kingdom her treasures. She cares for them all like they're her friends.

As soon as that loading screen came out, everyone was like "OMG Golden Cheese Cookie adopted Burnt Cheese" but like, whenever Burnt Cheese interacted with Golden Cheese, I don't get the whole mom son thing. Especially in the initial update over a year ago. I just see two as friends/siblings who knew each other for a long time.

I don't know if this counts as evidence, but Golden Cheese Cookie called Smoked Cheese Cookie her friend in Episode 6 of Beast-Yeast when she told him to leave before fighting Smoked Cheese Cookie. That kinda sealed it for me that Golden Cheese Cookie not only see Smoked Cheese Cookie as her friend, but probably for the others too.

It sometimes upsets me that people bash Beast/Ancient so hard, mostly because of my own guilty conscience. I don’t ship it and think it doesn’t make sense either, and I agree with their points. They’re in the right to express their dislike of a ship, just as people have the right to ship things. And I respect the people say that they’re not telling people not to ship it. It’s definitely based on mischaracterisation. But god damn it, if it isn’t fun to read about. I sometimes hate that it’s so fun too. I guess Beast Redemption AUs for some reasons just attract me. This feels like a red flag, I dunno.

I really hate Beast x Ancient ships, but especially Cheese x Spice, like...she's been through so much, she deserves better than an abusive relationship or being there just to "fix" the villain. Id never grief anyone over it or anything and i know ship and let ship, but just this ship especially gives me much major recoil. Golden Cheese deserves respect and love and an equal who cares for her, not brutality and being treated like a toy or a pet at best who's only interested in her strength as an amusement. I get he's attractive looking and a redemption story would be fun even, but given the way he's treated her I'd never ship him with Cheese even if he was redeemed. She deserves something truly good for herself.
