Judd Winick, I owe you my life. I had forgotten how much I loved Lost Days. (Except for that one scene with Talia.)
Batman warned Robin that Joker is not to be taken lightly. He is not insane, he's not sick, he's not like the others.... he's a Monster.
That was then, and this is now. Jason has become everything that Batman warned him about. And all that shit he did in Under the Red Hood... all the killing, the guns, the bombs, the destruction, all that death... it wasn't just Pit Madness, he knew what he was doing. Jason is not insane. It's not that simple.

Jason wearing a red hoodie may be a cliché at this point, but it's something I never get tired of seeing. The hoodie is iconic in the most literal definition of the word.
Also, denying his old identity by claiming to be "absolutely nobody" is so chef's kiss. He's not a street rat, he's not a sidekick, and he is no one's son. Not anymore.

Tim knows better than to put on the Robin suit before his training is complete. He also knows that Batman is in trouble. Rather than swooping in to save his mentor in full Robin regalia, as his predecessor did in #366, Tim shows up in a red ski mask. This is no great irony until 15 years later when Jason dons his red hood, but I thought it was an interesting coincidence.

Jason gets cornered by the Ivgene clan while trying to sabotage some bombs, and his “plan B” is to throw up on the guys shoes to convince them that he is just a kid who was hired to help the guy who made the bombs. They start to believe him, and Jay goes on to beat the shit out of them.
....But this begs the question: has Jason always been able to vomit on command? If so, that’s pretty cool and really disgusting.
