NaruSaku Day 2016!
That time of the year is coming again! That special date of the year, “The day Naruto fell in love with Sakura-chan” said the 2010 Shounen Jump Calendar.

It is this time of the year that NaruSaku fans of all backgrounds come and give this pairing one thing for the year. Whether it’s art, a fanfiction, a video, music, so many things are created for this special day!
Last year turned out better than we ever anticipated! People were still so upset over the ending, everyone came back to pour their love into this pairing one last time. I’m not expecting so many people to return again this year, but it would be amazing to celebrate as hard as we did before.
Along with all the art and writing and other media to be produced for this year’s celebration, I wanted to create some sort of collaboration. It’s a very simple one, and it requires little effort.
This year, we want to make a gallery of photos and text!
- Following THIS link, you will download the templates you will need to use
- Fill the provided space with whateverrrr you want. From text, to a picture, whatever you wish. You can enlarge the dimensions proportionally if you wish, but please make sure to shrink it back to its original size. It doesn’t have to be something new, but it MUST be something you created.
- On THIS blog, you will submit your content! (Videos and music can automatically be submitted, you don’t need templates)
- On THIS page, all the content submitted will be displayed with optional music.
- At the very end, I will take the time to piece together allll the images and content we compiled into one big image and put it up on display for 2016.
Maybe year after year, this can be something we do. ^_^ There’s still a few months before our big day comes, so the plans may change. Stay tuned for more information, but if you’re a slow worker, now’s the time to download the template and see what you can do!
Other information:
- There is no deadline other than a few days after April 3rd
- On the website, it will be a slideshow. Each image should link to each individual user
- The content compiled is not for sale (except from the individual content creator’s work, it is their content after all)
- This content will remain viewable after April 3rd
Closing Notes
I’m not sure what I’m expecting this year, but this is the holiday I always look forward to? The most important thing about events is, even if you can’t create anything, always support the people who do, or else you’ll end up with nothing at all. I believe a big part of NaruSaku Day last year was the amount of support non-creators gave to the people posting. Posts like “Happy NaruSaku Day!” and various other messages of support kept us all in high spirits and certainly encouraged more people to join in.
