Masterlist
Hey so this is my new updated masterlist. I will be splitting it into fandoms so it's easier to navigate. I am still open to taking requests from people. I might add more fandoms later.

Headcanon:
Elain and Nesta knew Feyre wouldn’t buy things for herself until she felt the need to even when they saw the need, so they asked for things for themselves to give her hand me downs.
The new boots Nesta wanted when Feyre came home with the pelt even though Feyre saw Nesta’s perfectly fine pair next to hers falling apart? Nesta broke them in so Feyre wouldn’t get blisters or friction burn climbing a tree in new ones and get frostbite, and then Nesta asked for new ones so Feyre could wear the broken-in ones. Elain asking for a new cloak? She knew it was getting cold and Feyre would need more layers out in the wind all day.
From book 1, Feyre is asking Tamlin to earn her keep from the moment she arrives. In the night court, she enjoys working even when she doesn’t need to and even when she and Rhysand say they barely have enough time both to be with each other and to sleep. They’re both prone to taking care of others at the expense of themselves and not take care of their own needs, and the sisters know this about Feyre.
I don’t think their mother tried to burden Feyre with keeping the sisters together; I think Elain saw herself as a helpless burden and Nesta saw herself as a thorn in her side, and only Feyre would give of herself to keep them together - not because the others only cared for themselves but because they wanted better for Feyre.
I think their mother probably knew that their skills and what they had been taught and trained for would be useless in survival, but Feyre was not only a fighter but a protector. Elain was more of a caretaker, and Nesta was begging her father to fight.
I also think that Elain was probably the one to teach their father to walk again and to take care of him for all those years. She probably did most of the housework except for cooking. I think the one thing she probably avoided was cooking both because they would only be able to know what they were eating once Feyre got home and because she may have feared burning food which would waste what little they had.
Do I think this was the original idea SJM had when writing book 1? Probably not. But by now? Yeah maybe.
I remember sitting in every history class thinking “I wonder when a woman will show up. I wonder when we’ll learn about a woman in history. I wonder when we’ll hear about a woman.” There are many important female historical figures. We don’t hear about them because men don’t want us to. Men are not the only ones who shaped this world; but they like to pretend they are.
i’ll be honest guys, it’s hard to care or even think about my fav books today when i’m trying to reconcile with the fact that this country has chosen its hatred of women, queer people, POC, disabled people, etc etc over hope.
Because we all need this
Gonna do my best.
Not giving up.
I think we all need a Baymax hug today
Can we just take a moment to appreciate this scene in Acosf. Like Nesta is just like wait you’re leaving to go to a snowball fight. And Cassian adding in the whole sauna thing they do after the snowball fight.
This episode of them going over who’s more likely to use a shotgun and Jay chiming in to say a pro redneck is his guess. I hope we can get more moments like this where even going over a case it’s a very serious but also unserious moment.
I love Az and Nesta’s friendship and the little book light that he got her for a solstice gift. Also that Nesta felt comfortable with their friendship to give him a hug.
Just going to leave this here cause it makes me sad that Adam is the only one left from that picture of the three of them. Also I miss Alvin and Halstead on the show.
So a couple of things that I absolutely loved/ found funny about this passage. First that Nesta yelled at Elain and Elain started laughing. Like most siblings have snapped at each other at some point which is why I think Elain thinks it’s a good sign because now Nesta feels comfortable not having to protect her all the time.
Second thing is when they walk back to join everyone and Az is waiting for them because he heard Elain laugh and the charge between them that even Nesta noticed.
This passage from Cassians POV as he watched both sisters enter the Hewn City behind Rhys and Feyre. He noticed that black isn’t Elain’s color (which is ok. Not every color looks good on everyone.) but also how she wanted to come with even after Feyre gave her the choice to stay home. She wanted to go because the Night Court is her home now and she wanted to help.
I also love how the next passage Cassian can’t take his eyes off of Nesta because of how good she looks in her dress.
“cassian never said i love you to nesta so obviously he doesn’t”
Cassian is not a words man, rhys is, but cassian SHOWS his love for nesta. he literally chooses to try and kill himself rather than harm her
AND here are things he did say !
“I have no regrets in my life, but this. That we did not have time. That I did not have time with you, Nesta. I will find you again in the next world the next life. And we will have that time. I promise”
“Your power is a song I’ve waited a very long time to hear.”
“You can throw anything at me and I won’t break”
“There’s nothing broken to be fixed”
just a few quotes off the top of my head, these sound like i love yous to me but sure. he didn’t specifically say those three words so obviously it doesn’t count.
I agree with this. Everyone has their own love language. Some can use words of affirmation to show their love and others use gifts or actions and others choose touch as a love language. Rhys and Cassian have different ways of expressing their love and that’s ok.
hot take apparently but i think it's good for white people to relate to poc's art. i think it's good for straight people to relate to queer art. stop acting like we're different species who could never possibly understand each other what the fuck is wrong with you
just remembered shows used to have 20-25 eps per season
Just...all the breathing room to get to know the characters, for them to interact, to build up a history.
Of course a lot of shows wasted a lot of this causing nonsensical character development and the like, but still, I just miss it.
I’m not a fan of shows doing like 10 episode seasons or splitting up a season into two parts ( Netflix). Like bring back the 20-25 episode seasons like for instance supernatural had most seasons at 22 episodes and were able to put weird and funny episodes in them like the ghost facers and still use it for plot but also comedic relief.
