Recently, the website PuckerMob.com published an article on their website entitled, "24 Signs You're Dating a Superhero Boyfriend" written by Alexa Thompson. This piece talks about the day-to-day advantages of dating a super guy who's nice and respectful, saying that what makes him a superhero is that "He earned your trust" and "Is gentle with your heart." But I think this grossly underestimates the day-to-day struggle it would be to date a comic book or silver screen hero. Here are some signs you would notice if your boyfriend or girlfriend was actually a superhero.

1. Thor was born in Norway. In a cave.

Before the time of Thor's birth, Odin sought to father a son who had roots in both Asgard and Midgard (Earth), and so he chose Jord, also known as Gaea, who was an Elder Goddess who once inhabited Earth. Odin's reasoning behind this is it would give Thor power deriving from both realms, thus uniting them and making Thor stronger than anyone from either realm. Odin carved a cave out in Norway for Jord to give birth in, and, months later, Odin brought Thor back to Asgard where he and his wife, Frigga, raised him.
