Beyond Supernatural Season 11: What Monsters do Sam & Dean Have Left to Fight?

Written by Creator Sam Plank

In 11 seasons of Supernatural, the Winchesters have fought and killed/defeated pretty much every imaginable form of evil known to man (and some that weren't even known before). From all the monsters they've killed, to rogue archangels, to Death himself, to Eve, the mother of all uglies, to Abaddon and Lillith and Azazel, to throwing Lucifer in the cage. They survived purgatory, killed the head Leviathon, ended Cain, they beat up poor Metatron, Rowena's dead now, Crowley has been reduced to Lucifer's pet, and gobs and gobs of demons have fallen before the brothers.

What in the hell could possibly be next?

It looks like season 12 will be happening, thank Amara's Brother. Some time this season, it seems Amara's Bro will show up too, hopefully to help put his sis away for the second time. So who's left?

Here are some theories for all my fellow Supernatural fanatics to chew on.

God

Since God is coming back to put Amara away this season, and Supernatural likes to turn legends on their heads, I can kinda see the producers figuring out some way to make God become a kinda sorta bad guy. It's a weird thought, but you all know the way they think.

Back to their roots

In the preview for next week's episode, it looks like Amara is bringing out some ugly, ugly ghostseses. So after Amara gets vanquished, maybe the producers will go back to some good ole monster stompin' fun? That's assuming Lucifer gets put back in his cage, and isn't allowed to run around for another flippin' season. Which would be cool, because you know what, Supernatural, dangit!

Lucifer

I know, it's been done for 2 seasons now, the fight against Satan himself. But think about this; what if the guys had one goal next season...to actually kill Satan! They can already kill archangels, and really, Satan is just one big, mean, nasty angel, so maybe? What would the world be like without Satan, though? I would imagine the producers would take it one step further, and end up killing him and God both. Can't have one without the other!

Bonus:

He's not really a monster, at least, depending on who you ask I guess, but...

Jesus Christ Himself!

I have no clue what the producers would do with Jesus, but I'm sure they'd figure something out. Maybe have him appear this season and help bring Amara down? And they hang around all next season like Cas? Who knows!

After googling and googling, and googling some more, guys, that's all I got. I would suck at being a producer on that show, I know. But Dean and Sam really have killed every possible thing out there, haven't they?

Whatever season 12 will bring us, maybe we should just worry about Amara and the rest of this season for now.

6 Things You Probably Didn't Know About Jensen Ackles

Jensen Ackles's birthday has just passed on March 1st, and he is now 38 years old. Somehow, that man is 38 and still looks amazing. He gets better and better every year. He hasn't been in any recent movies neither is he widely known by most, in the sense of being a newcomer in acting or being in every new movie coming out.

There are mostly three things that people know about him.

  • He is ridiculously great looking and loved by all the ladies.
  • He has played Dean Winchester in one of the longest running beloved cult series ever, Supernatural.
  • He is all over tumblr.

While all those things are true, there are a lot of other things that most don't know. So in honor of his birthday, I'll be talking about six random facts you didn't know about Jensen Ross Ackles.

1. He could have been Captain America or Hawkeye.

I don't assume many people know this, especially since Jensen doesn't make this known and it isn't spoken about by Marvel. It mostly started off as a rumor until there was said to be multiple sources that made conformation of Jensen having auditioned for Captain America's role and Marvel really liking him and being interested in him likely getting the role of Hawkeye. However, Jensen being fully devoted to Supernatural, declined this offer and obviously, never got the role.

I would have really loved to see Jensen as Captain America and even as Hawkeye. However, being a big fan, I appreciate and am thankful for his devotion to Supernatural. Of course, I'd love to see Supernatural go on for as long as possible but I also am hoping for Jensen (and Jared as well) to go even farther.

2. He and his wife, Danneel, played in a movie called Ten Inch Hero

This film came out around 2007 so this was before they were married which was in 2010, but they had been friends long before this film. It was near to more so the time of when they started dating. It's really sweet seeing them in this film together, especially since their characters don't generally get along too well.

3. Danneel, his wife is from Louisiana.

Danneel was born in Lafayette, Louisiana and raised in Eunice, Louisiana. They have visited her side of the family in Louisiana on holidays before and they have even filmed in Louisiana for Supernatural.

This is really awesome to me, being from Louisiana and having gone through Eunice all my life, I could have been one moment away from them and never have known it.

4. His father and sister have featured on Supernatural.

His father is Alan Ackles and he has featured on the episode "Heartache" (season 8 episode 3) as a detective. His sister name is Mackenzie and she has actually featured on two episodes. The first being "Bloodlust" (season 2 episode 4) and the second being "Slash Fiction" (season 7 episode 6). His mother was an extra in one episode, and his brother, so far, has never featured in an episode. He does look exactly like him though, it's almost haunting.

Who the hell was that?! In the background of the vital scene in 'No Way Out', a Walking Dead character was lurking...

5. He has directed 5 different episodes of Supernatural.

So far there has only been 5 episodes he's directed, but there could be more in store for him, especially if Supernatural will have a 12th season. Below are the episodes he has directed

  • "Weekend at Bobby's" (season 6 episode 4)
  • "The Girl Next Door" (season 7 episode 3)
  • "Heartache" (season 8 episode 3)
  • "Soul Survivor" (season 10 episode 3)
  • "The Bad Seed" (season 11 episode 3)

6. He can sing. Like he can REALLY sing.

Jensen at first was really shy about singing in front of people, so he never did. However, as of last year (2015) he really broke out of his shell and now he's like a fully confident singer when on stage. He only sings at conventions and has featured on recording artist, and his friend, Jason Mann's Christmas album. If you want a little more conformation just watch the video below and you'll see and hear everything you need to.

There is everything to love about this man. He is multi-talented, a sweet father, a husband, a brother, and son. He is dedicated and faithful to his work and he loves the fans that brought Supernatural to where it is.
