Hey guys there’s a new Marathi langblr called @survivetoread and they just got started.
I know the “Indo” part of the Indo-European family is LARGELY neglected in the langblr community, so if some of you are looking for something a little different to study maybe give Marathi a try! And it shouldn’t be too hard to pick up for those of you who are used to other Indo-Aryan languages like Hindi/Udru or Bengali. Also, like its cousins, it sounds very pretty and is written in a beautiful script, and boasts an extensively rich history and culture.
Bonus points: it is a generally open language, and yet isn’t given much attention! So new learners are more than welcome, you’ll be learning a language that not many people (outside of India/Marathi diaspora) know, and you won’t be stepping on the toes of closed communities!
Thank you for the boost! 😄❤
Hey there Bangla-lovers! If you enjoy learning Bengali, you’ll sure enjoy Marathi too. So check it out😄
