CRAZY SEXY FIERCE

@crazysexyfierce / crazysexyfierce.tumblr.com

Hello, lovely! My name is Jessica. Welcome to Crazy Sexy Fierce, my little slice of the Internet where I discuss radical self love, fashion, (mostly) healthy living and life as a fierce young woman in Paris, the City of Love! From a blog mostly dedicated to fitness, good-looking bodies and healthy nutrition, Crazy Sexy Fierce has evolved into a bigger, better beast. While all these things still play an important role in my life, I now approach my health and wellbeing from a more holistic perspective! Please don't hesitate to drop me a line, if you feel like a chat or are seeking advice. And pssst: if you enjoyed yourself here, you will LOVE my blog, Jessica Says! Just sayin'. You can also find me on Instagram and Twitter (@jessicasays__). Check out my friend Ruled.me's brilliant keto/low-carb cookbook!

10 Steps to Self Care

1. Be aware of, and respect, your emotional limits. 2. Don’t be a people pleaser. 3. Take control of your thoughts. 4. Listen to your heart. 5. Be kind to yourself; don’t tear yourself down. 6. Learn to take control of, and to manage, your time. 7. Let go of those things you can’t control. 8. Stay away from drama and negativity. 9. Say “yes” to those things that are important to you. 10. Get plenty of sleep, and make time for solitude.

Self care is not a bath bomb Nor is it a face mask Nor a sweet-smelling lotion Nor a cup of herbal tea Self care is bathing because you lost count of how many days it’s been since you were clean Self care is catching up on three days of work because you don’t know where your brain went from Wednesday through Friday Self care is doing laundry when you can’t remember what’s clean and what’s dirty from the massive pile on the floor Self care is exercising because it’s the only anti-depressant you have Self care is letting yourself cry for the first time in months when you’ve wanted to almost every day Self care is making yourself dinner when you’ve gone all day without eating Self care is taking a deep breath and sorting through what you need to do It doesn’t come from bath and body works or Lush or Ghiradelli It isn’t cutesy or fun It’s relief It’s responsibility

because the world doesn’t stop for a warm bath and a good book (via wheresagnes)

Society has made us belief that we are only worthy, beautiful, happy, successful and lovable if we are a certain size or act a certain way. You are a unique soul and your worth has nothing to do with the number on a bathroom scale. You are alive, you are worthy and you are working hard to be the best and happiest version of yourself. Stop focusing on a number on the scale that says nothing about you and your beauty! Look inside warrior. That’s where all the answers are and that’s where all your dreams, beauty, passions, love and experiences are; that’s where YOU are!
