What is your favorite cottage aesthetic?
My favourite part of the cottage aesthetic is the warmth, I love the patchwork quilts that are full of colour and different patterns or seeing a jar of honey and knowing it was made by a colony of hard working bees or seeing clothes hanging out on a line to dry or when you see the sun shining through a window with a set of sheer curtains blowing in the breeze.
There something about the aesthetic as whole that just makes me feel relaxed. Maybe it’s the simplicity of life that it brings, knowing you have to focus on getting by each day and being responsible for all the little animals that are in your care or tending to a beautiful garden. It makes my heart feel peaceful and fills my soul with joy!
