Since we can finally post our submissions, here is my piece that was paired with @lostemotion (spacenerdz@twitter) fic for the Between two points zine. 

So summary is that Shiro gets fatally wounded and becomes the castles new AI, and let’s face it Keith is struggling. 

I had a lot of fun working on this but damn it did break my heart several times over ;3;.

These fuckers really made Shiro use his teacher voice every other scene. Somebody pour my man a cold one, he deserves it.

shiro/keith + single-mindedly barreling through all else to rescue the other

Keith who throws himself at any kind of danger because he's never known the idea of 'selfcare' and doesn't know that people are permissible to love him and to desire him and to be their anchor, because all Keith knows all his life is that people leave him and they don't give him closure. And Shiro who throws himself at Keith at every chance he gets bc Keith is his anchor, his voice of reason, his ground and his tangible need to feel real, because needing to see Keith when he wakes up is an aching quintessential part of himself that he wants as a constant; never again he wants to be lost.
