Men get pegged as shallow a lot, but in my real life experience, women are more shallow than men.

A lot of the men I’ve talked to don’t care if a woman has some extra weight, or is taller than them, or doesn’t have flawless skin. And even more men prefer women who don’t wear a lot of make up. (Not that I’m saying make up is bad, I love make up.)

I’ve noticed a lot of women, on the other hand, won’t date guys who are shorter than them (that’s a really popular one), or they have some other physical standard they expect.

Yet we ostracize men who have standards and applaud women who do. Those men are shallow while those women are strong independent “don’t need no man” types.

The hypocrisy is pretty amusing, to say the least.

Men get pegged

I honestly stopped reading at “men get pegged” and I was like “they sure do”

I’m glad neither of you took the time to read one person’s opinion. What is reading comprehension or textual analysis anyways? Worried it might pop your bubble? Grow up.

I honestly stopped reading at “I’m glad” and was like “good for you”

Erasure poetry by wahbegan

It’s so bizarre how y’all will literally ignore and alter things you don’t want to hear

there’s nothing bizarre about men getting pegged

so happy to see this wholesome positive pegging discourse!!!

whats a gender neutral word you could use for your spouse? wusband?? hife?? wifesband?!?!?

i may be stupid

having a post like this blow up really makes me feel like a lowly jester who, having made a suitable funny, has created an uproar in the royal hall, with the diplomats and aristocrats belly-laughing demanding “More, more!!!” as they throw firecrackers at my feet

Me: *falling asleep to an audiobook on the science of the gut*

Book: saliva is actually filtered blood!

Me: ʕʘ‿ʘʔ

Me: ʕʘ‿ʘʔ

Book: saliva also contains a painkiller that is stronger than morphine, but we don’t produce a lot of it otherwise we’d be constantly high

Me: ʕʘ Д ʘʔ

Opiorphin is 6x stronger than morphine and actually contains an anti-depressant compound which is why some doctors believe it’s linked to comfort eating

Everyone spit on me so I won’t be depressed

i remember this post but only the horny bitch at the end

im extremely nosy but i dont have loose lips and thats the best combination tbh im not here to spread rumors or hurt anyone im only in it for the knowledge of everyone’s business i wont tell anybody but i NEED to possess ALL of the secrets

me hearing all the different sides of the story because everyone involved has told me directly what their take on the situation is but not saying anything and just watching it unfold like a intensely dramatically ironic shakespearean play with an audience of one (1) which is ME

The thing about Those White People Baby Names is the way they so poetically express the tension between individuality and rigid conformity. These parents all want to name their child something unique, because they value the concept of uniqueness, yet simultaneously they abhor it in practice… ergo, 30 different spelling variations on the most normative possible names. This homogeneity-masquerading-as-diversity is inseparable from capitalist consumer culture and in fact is directly analogous to the experience of walking into a grocery store and being asked to “choose” between 50 varieties of toothpaste with the same exact ingredients, 12 brands of laundry detergent, etc.
