OH LORRDDD! I just Googled Amanda Abbington as I couldn't place what I recognised her from, and was frankly a little too excited to learn that firstly I can appreciate her loving Sherlock as I've liked her in everything I've seen her in and can from my crystal tower (is that a thing?) respect her life choices etc. (not going to lie, I even have a soft spot for those Maltesers ads with Katherine Parkinson), but also, and more importantly since it's re the wellbeing of one of my cherished heroes, she's married to Martin Freeman! I only just found out that he had children! I always assumed someone must have snapped up that hunk of burning love but I'm too gossip-phobic to have been inquisitive enough to research the identity of his lady love, or just anything else re.. anything apparently.
Also a factor may or may not have been the fact that IT SHOULDA BEEN MEEEEEEE
Despite my being about 12 or something when I fell in love with him (I'm 20 now though so if your marriage breaks down you can call me, Freeman. It's not weird. Especially if you read this). Bit of an age gap. But maybe this is getting too personal.
The point is, I love this. I couldn't possibly resent this wonderful woman. i.e. I like her enough to excuse Martin's choosing her over a severely underage girl he's never met.
I decided to casually share this info. Despite my assumedly being the last Freeman fan to make this discovery.
