My life is different and sometimes it’s scary, and sometimes it’s sad to see things go because I still feel normal inside — so it’s kind of sad to see some of the things change that I wasn’t ready to change but I love acting and I wouldn’t be able to do anything else.

“And I don’t mean ‘love-machines’… I mean, like, we are just good at, you know, aside from eating and making babies, we’re also really good at creating important relationships with each other.” (x)
it’s time to take my life into my own hands but i’ve got to look inside to truly understand my destiny, my enemy, my past, and the world around me yes, i think it’s time for something different
oh…….my…….GOD
im reblogging it again i dont even care this is the best thing that ever happened to me
“I went from having a stutter to being a totally gay little opera singer to being, like, a really confused queer adolescent. Getting socially outcast can be the best and most informative thing that can ever happen to you because you have to learn who you are separate from the pack.” -Ezra Miller in Out Magazine

You have to encourage people not to give in to the temptation to be normal, even if it isn’t easy.
I like this but I just want to say that rather than "don't be normal", I think the emphasis should be more on "embrace what's NOT normal about you", because "normality" isn't the enemy. "Normal" people are probably happy, they should just be shown that there are other options and not just one way to be happy.
I wouldn't want someone to think "Oh, am I too normal? Oh no! I need to be individual!" - everyone is different. People like different things. You can like what the majority likes and be like the majority of people and no-one's going to force you to share the ~pain and sorrow of being ABnormal. EVERYONE has little things that make them different. I think it's maybe just as unhealthy to think normality is BAD as it is to feel like an outcast for not being what is considered "normal" by society.
Embrace what makes you different, but also what you can relate to in others. No-one is truly "normal", but no-one can tell you what makes YOU happy and what you personally think of as normal to YOU.
Just wanted to add that.
I feel kind of silly making a big deal of this but...
This is my normality. Rambling about syntax.
Luna: They’re called Thestrals. They’re quite gentle, really, but people avoid them, because they’re a bit… Harry: Different.
