Side character enjoyers when their favorite side character isn't in every single episode of the show they're watching (they are a side character)
You know how to ball
I know Aristotle
James Aubrey and Ellie Bishop ate one (1) meal together at a local diner. 9 dead and 45 injured.
The worst decision anyone ever made in Bones (2005) was when Hodgins found the thumb drive with all the NSA info on it and instead of leaking it, he gAVE IT TO BOOTH... WHO WORKS FOR THE FBI?! 10 seasons of Hodgins radiating ACAB energy, down the toilet. I am FURIOUS.
And you KNOW that him and Angela could have leaked that in a way that would never trace back to them.
Bones had the right idea with just throwing random AU episodes into the series and I think more of my shows should do it. I want to see an NCIS medieval royalty AU. I want to watch a Criminal Minds college AU.
I absolutely hated the “losing the passion” plot in this weeks Bones episode. Wendell Bray quite probably had the most drive and determination than all of the other squinterns in his career as an intern/grad student and always had such clear love for the work he was doing in forensic anthropology. What a fucking BS storyline.
My personal headcanon is that Wendell was just a little burnt out and took a year or so off for his mental health and then came back and finished his doctorate.
Because it WAS a bullshit storyline.
bones (maybe) hot take: daisy wick is not annoying. anything apparently negative that can be said of her, can also be said of other characters who are well-liked by fans.
struggles in many social situations? so does… well, i was gonna say brennan, but actually most of the other characters on the show as well. talks a lot & is "too" cheerful? so does vincent nigel-murray. "too" emotional? the show is literally about emotion & logic coexisting! comes off as self-absorbed or too proud? so does brennan, plenty of people in-universe have that impression of her. messes up sometimes? they all do that, either for plot drama or comedic effect. chose her career over her love life? so did brennan… like, at the exact same time. tends to be oblivious to people’s negative opinions of her? so is brennan, fairly often.
daisy actually has many of the same character traits as brennan, except she’s also cheerful & open. her sin is being too happy? or that doesn’t have enough abandonment trauma? nah i love daisy. she’s misunderstood. i’m daisy’s defence lawyer for life.
crazy to me that people really thought zack was capable of murder. this is the same guy whose hands shook when placing a child's bones in a casket and his only excuse was "i've never worked with bones so small". he is not all logic he is a living breathing feeling man
"But you risked it all so you wouldn't hurt Hodgins!"
Rewatching Bones is realizing almost all of Hodgins' "conspiracy theories" are literally just facts that have been proven true.
Sorry we put your autistic boyfriend in the fandom and they completely infantilised him. Sorry yeah he's an innocent baby who's never even heard of a sex and doesn't know a single swearword now. Yeah they're treating him like the team kid and calling his friends his parents I'm so sorry about this. Yeah I know he's committed felonies in canon but it doesn't matter it's too late now I'm sorry

Ope, almost forgot to add this lil guy
Someone put Mozzie and Jack Hodgins in a room together for 15 minutes.
I just wanna see what happens.
