I've been thinking about why Caroline was so murdery upon waking up as GLaDOS and realized... She was a woman in the scientific field in the 50s-80s. You can imagine the utter bullshit she's had to endure from the others. Being stuffed into a computer was likely just the last straw.

Like yeah of course she wants to murder them all.

GLaDOS is literally the funniest character ever. Her arc culminates in her saying "I hate you so much it's not even worth the trouble of killing you, so just fucking LEAVE.
