Scorpex, Plague Ancient Breed Concept.
The apex predator of the wastelands of old. Scorpax are known to attack bigger opponents such as imperials without fear. They are very territorial and aggressive hunters, who first chase their prey until it collapses from exhaustion, no matter how long it takes. Once Scorpex has its eye on the pray, they will never give up. There even has been cases of Scorpex chasing heir prey to the other side of Sornieth. Their most notable feature is the curled tail, and on the tip of the tail is a poisonous spike that is ridden with disease. However, Scorpex only uses it as a last solution to overpower the target. Their main weapons are their sharp claws, wangs and even sharper minds. After lying egg/s, the female Scorpex will develop double claws on its both hind and front legs to protect their nests from intruding egg thieves. A mother Scorpex will never leave their nests and must rely on their mate to bring food for them. Once their nests hatch, both parents take care of their young, teaching them to hunt and survive. The young Scorpex are also aggressive and like to chase and bite everything, but luckily their baby teeth are harmless. Year ago, Scorpex dominated the Wastelands. Due to their pray getting low, they just mysteriously disappeared and it was assumed they moved to another land beyond Sornieth. But the truth was something far more terrifying... They never left. They had always been there, just hiding, under The Abiding Boneyard. Stalking and watching the passing dragons, just beyond their vision. Just beyond their reach.
