I can't imagine watching an ensemble show, shipping 2 characters that likely aren't gonna happen, make everything about that ship and hate everything else in the show that doesn't involve your ship and use other characters as prop for your ship.

And then getting hatefully angry at an character and their actor who gets in the way of your ship

#the fact that this can pertain to more than one show is certainly something
