Deleted SNL Sketch - "Nickelodeon Show"
Some of you may see that title and hope for SNL cast members Kenan and Taran, Nickelodeon alums themselves, to drop a Moody's Point reference or even acknowledge a certain someone. Unfortunately that wasn't the case, but this is still a great sketch that didn't quite make it to air last week and is now available for streaming!

Bonus: Also features a young Bob Odenkirk and Tim Meadows.
Comedy Time Warp: Christmas With Saturday TV Funhouse
By CNU Editor/Comedy Time Warp Creator Kari Rogers
Saturday TV Funhouse, a regular segment on Saturday Night Live from 1996 - 2008 created by writer Robert Smigel, really took you out of the show in a wonderful way. Aside from Norm Macdonald's Weekend Update, it was the most provocative part of SNL. It's no wonder it was spun off into its own (short-lived) Comedy Central show.
It packed a powerful satirical punch under the absurd, benign guise of Hanna-Barbera cartoons and Rankin/Bass stop motion, sometimes just animating around real found audio to make political but never too preachy statements. Though inconsistent, TV Funhouse has become an alternative comedy classic. I've found that the holiday TV Funhouses - featuring writing from Louis CK, Stephen Colbert, and Julie Klausner among others - were really special and I've ranked them from "worst" to best.
Cecily Strong will become an anchor on the Saturday Night Live Weekend Update desk, and six performers will join the cast for this next season.
Big news! Cecily Strong is joining Seth Meyers at the Update desk this year!

That Weekend Update...
Well this is good news. (Both that they are finally admitting it and also settling it.) Because let’s admit it, it was a little soul crushing when we first learned one of the greatest duo’s of SNL actually loathed each other. Glad it’ll be water under the bridge now.
It's always good to hear that two people who worked so well together are making nice, even if for years they denied even having a problem.
“SNL” fans immediately noticed the voice that announced the cast last was NOT that of Pardo’s … despite the poor attempt at an impression. But rest assured, Pardo is ok … our sources say he is recovering from a broken hip and doing just fine.
just found this on tmz.
don’t worry, guys! don pardo is okay :)
If any of you are wondering where Don Pardo was last night, here's your answer. He has a broken hip, but he's going to be okay! He's kind of like Kenneth Parcell in that he's immortal.
Lonely Island Fans! Check out this great in-depth interview with Akiva Schaffer on the early beginnings of the group, their trajectory that took them to SNL, their intense work ethic from the digital shorts and how it helped him when he directed Hot Rod and The Watch.
Guy Fieri 'SNL' Sketch Is Everything We Dreamed Of | Huff Post Food
We were surprised at first, given one of the most notable events of the week, that SNL didn't have a Guy Fieri sketch in this weekend's live show. As it turns out, they actually did, but it didn't make it past dress!

How do you nerds feel about their choice of Seth McFarlane for the season premier? Overall, I think the season looks pretty solid so far!
