The most embarrassing thing I’ve done? 

okay buckle up kids… 

So I was at the hydrotherapy pool at the hospital for physio one day and my eyesight is really bad and of course I can’t wear my glasses in the pool so I put them in my bag like I always did. 

At the end of the session, my physio was assisting me to make the couple of steps from the pool to my wheelchair. And of course I was exhausted like I always was- about ready to plunk into bed and not wake up for about 10 years or so. 

Anyway, I rolled over to my bag which was on the seat next to a lady who was also attending physio. I was feeling around in the bag but I couldn’t find my glasses. As I was doing this, the lady started to pull the bag away… oblivious in my trance-like, fatigued state, I thought nothing of it and started pulling it back while still rummaging through to find my glasses. It was only when she pulled the bag back again that I looked up at her to be like “ummmm watcha doing… hands off my bag. Kinda weird… why the hell are you touching it” when I realised this wasn’t actually my bag but one that was a similar coloured brown leather. 

Safe to say I was mortified and apologised a billion times! And it turns out my bag was on the back of my wheelchair the entire time.
